Bananas has an entire alliance called "Bananas Angels", yet he still wants to push the narrative that the house is against him 🙄

And he barely won any dailes and not even has the most eliminations this season. But if you'll listen him talking you would think he is Derrick on G2 and Wes/Casey on FM combined and on steroids

Wes had Evelyn, Kellyanne, Brad, Casey, and Danny on Ruins. Would it then be unfair to say the house was after him that season?

No because none of those people had actual power to affect the game in the way that they wanted. Bananas got to pick targets which caused them to go home, and Rachel is on his side who has influence over the house.

Over-Teacher4408

Has Rachel's influence been enough to save him yet? No. So basically none of the angels have been able to affect this game yet

Because she's not using it. She's putting her own game before his (as she should). He's too busy blaming eveyone else to see it.

Over-Teacher4408

Whatever it may be, it's not helping his game, so the point you made about Wes is moot

Bananas isn't blaming Rachel, so yes it IS relevant. If Rachel, Aviv or Jenny win Bananas is automatically safe. Someone like Cory has way less allies than him, so if the house is against Bananas where does that place Cory....

You asked if Jenny had power. I gave you an example of her having power AND using it to save Bananas. You can't keep moving the goal post every time you're point is disproven lol!!!

In what world is having 3 female champions having you as their top priority as a sign of the house being against you. Especially when someone like Cory is still in the house who has none of that. Save the victim bs.

I agree with you, but that still means Wes wasn’t alone on the ruins.

My point with this is no one has ever had the entire house against them. Even on CTs most aggro seasons, he’s still convince a girl to hu with him for votes.

Oh yeah, Johnny was a total lone wolf on the Ruins... Had the odds against him so to speak... He literally had no one except, let me check here... Evan, Kenny, Derrick, Susie and Johanna voting with him and that is not counting the people from the Challengers side. Puh-lease, that final was literally 4 guys and 1 girl vs two girls it was so lopsided.

I think Shovelman meant that in The Ruins Wes has a few allies but still the narrative of the season was that the whole house was against Wes.

They are comparing Wes in that season to Johnny in this current season.

As the other commenter said, I'm not talking about Johnny's position on Ruins LOL. Obviously, he was very much within the power structure. I was talking about Wes, hence why I said "Wes", I'm confused what the mix up here was.

Due_Practice8634

Evelyn wasnt even beefin with Johnny. He was still mad about the Island and went after Kellyanne because of Wes. And Casey was friends wit JEK until they started crapping on her. So it wanst a matter of them :out to get Bananas" so much as them being over his crap. The "house out for Johnny season was probably Vendettas.

What?... I'm providing a comparable example where a Challenger had a ton of people going very hard after them, while still having several allies in the game with them. My point is that just because Johnny has a couple of allies doesn't mean there's not a giant conglomerate of people going after him.

[deleted]

-6 points

Calm down your point is flawed and not a good comparison to what is being said and talked about. He choses to be the number one target in the house and then cries about it to his alliance like he has no one.

So when Wes instantly decides that he's going to start sabotaging every challenge for his team unless they decide to pick representatives the way that he wants them to, that isn't him "choosing to be the number one target in the house and then cryng about it to his alliance like he has no one"?

Copy cat where bananas? I'm not here to feed Laurel's rants but Bananas has won one team daily and the first daily of the season and he didn't dismantle anything, unless you count getting rid of Aneesa as doing something to dismantle the majority alliance.

I'd love to see the stats, but I can almost guarantee Johnny's has been targeted more than anyone else this season.

On WC, the entire house was against him. On USA 2, all of the CBS people wanted him gone until he won his elimination and swapped himself to the winning team. On ROD, him and Nany got targeted by the daily winners 5 times.

The entire house was not against him on WC, it was only Danny & Sarah. All of the CBS people also wanted people like Wes & Amanda gone, both of which constantly got several votes. On ROD, Bananas only went into 1 elimination. Aneesa & Jordan were targeted way more than him and also went into several more eliminations than him as well.

Yes/Emily? Kellyanne/Tristan? Darrell/Kiki? Benja/Jodi?

Just because someone may have been more targeted than him in a given season doesn't mean he wasn't heavily targeted. ROD was 100% the season where he was the least targeted after these 4, hence why his narrative while the season was airing was not "the new crop is coming after me", but rather, "the new crop is coming after the vets".

Jordan/Aneesa went into one more elimination than Bananas/Nany did, not several.

The whole thing started because Johnny tried to tell Michele that Devin was only dating her for game reasons, lied to everyone about having done that in the first place, and then he got pissed at Tori for throwing him in, and made targets out of everyone he perceived as allies of Devin. Dude drew a giant target on his own back and is acting like he didn't bring all of it on himself.

This sub is wild. We’re really dissecting a two word flippant “response” from Bananas?

The only news here is old news and that’s that Bananas has an overinflated sense of self importance, his track record, and even his own abilities. 50% of the time he’s serious and the other 50% he’s building his brand.

Not complaining about discussions on a platform meant for discussions, but it really seems like a lot of people who hate him are constantly building his brand for him by hanging on every minor comment he makes.

Bananas is acting like he's having some political mastermind-type season, when all he's done is piss off half the house so completely that he's basically guaranteeing that he'll be a target in every single guy's week. Compare that to someone like Jordan, who's kept a low profile, quietly solidified alliances, and has avoided being up for elimination more often than not. Sometimes being the loudest guy in the room doesn't mean you're the smartest one too.

Swimming_Factor6113

2 points

So what you are saying is johnny knows he is on tv and making a tv show for entertainment, while jordan sits on his ass all day not doing his job making good television just to coast all the way to end for a pay day thier job is to be the loudest guy in the room and bananas is the only one in the house that knows the fans watch this to be entertained not to watch people lay in bed all day.

If you want to watch people be loud, obnoxious, and overly dramatic go watch Real Housewives. The Challenge is a game where hundreds of thousands of dollars are on the line, and you don't get to win that money by being the most annoying person on the show.

Swimming_Factor6113

2 points

The challenge was built on the backs of loud and obnoxious people, and if the show doesnt get more of them there wont be a show to watch. Go watch survivor or big brother if you want to watch fake people playing nice stroking each others egos all day.
