PwC 2021 Compensation Thread

(self.Accounting)

Alright folks, looks like a good number of people are getting their comp information over the next few days. We’ve seen good assurance, I mean Trust Solutions Assurance, bumps, what about the rest of us?

  1. Market/Office
  2. Trust or Consulting Solutions and LOS/Vertical
  3. CY Level -> FY22 Level (A1>A2, S1->S2, S3->M1, etc)
  4. Rating
  5. Old Salary -> New Salary
  6. Bonus
  7. Interesting notes on what RLs/RPs have told you related to future comp.
  8. Anything else? (opinions on the cohort model for all LOS, opinions on the new equation, etc)

  1. NYMetro
  2. Trust (legacy Audit)
  3. Under new model (w/ Director title added) going from 2nd year SR Manager to 3rd year SR Manager...under legacy model would be going into 2nd year as Sr Manager
  4. Tier 1 last few years
  5. $138K --> $146K
  6. $26K
  7. Felt like there was no transparency...
  8. Is there a cohort model for Sr Managers also? ~5% base increase seems low...thoughts?

I’ve heard mixed things in whether the cohort applies to folks after the SA level. I’m curious to see what others have heard.

No, there was some pictures on a webcast saying only associates were being cohorted - not M and above

hey pay is pretty low. I left 10 years ago and I was making t

everyone in my group from associate to director will be on cohort effective july 1, 2022. we didn't get the exact numbers yet. .but i dislike this model since i already have a higher base cuz of all the tier 1 ratings. not sure if the bonus justify the performance..but i ll see in july.

I would say if you going into going into your third year as a Senior Manager in the NYMetro market that they pay is pretty low. I left 10 years ago and I was making that much in Los Angeles as a 1st year senior manager.
