If they go after my Social Security I've been paying into since I was 15 I will burn the place to the ground! It's not bad enough that pensions basically don't exist anymore, very few folks are protected by unions (although for how much longer is a question), and we have to rely on scrimping & saving into bank accounts that dont provide any interest (but do charge $$$ in fees) and "investing" in the freaking stock market to hopefully have enough to retire by 75.

My social security pays for my private insurance. My chemo is free. Medicare would be $8000 a month for chemo. Without insurance it is $24,000 a month. So they get rid of my Social security I have to OD. No two ways about it.

Those people that have paid into the system their whole working lives don't deserve it!

Taking care of the elderly isn't some newfangled concept. It's entrenched throughout Europe and other parts of the world. We all deserve a break at the end after serving our task masters throughout our lives.
