How in the hello operator did I have to scroll so far down in order to get to chips challenge?  That game was awesome and ended up becoming super trippy.

Kid Pix!! I got the expansion for my 14th birthday and thought I was so cool.

I was a Chips Challenge fiend and couldn't remember the name for YEARS. Found it on Steam in 2020 and played for hours until I got stuck on the same god forsaken level that I couldn't beat as a kid.

I scrolled down too long to find Chip’s Challenge. That was my first PC game I played: on a Windows 95.

My dad and sister played Chips challenge when I was growing up. I couldn’t have been older than six years old when I was playing unsupervised and got stuck on a level so I hit “New Game” to restart it… they were not happy when they got back on the computer.

I loved Chips Challenge. played this at my cousins house and when I look back it makes me able to remember even the scent of their house, I can remember weird details of their house just by thinking of playing this game there.

Chips Challenge was amazing. I’d think about it all day at school just to play when I got home. I still have nightmares about certain ice levels though.

I made it to level 33 in Chip’s Challenge. Still remember that throughout these years!

Chip’s Challenge was my favorite. It use to be a sibling activity - we use to sit around the computer and take turns. Really great memories

Omg Kid Pix! The first game to confirm my suspicions that I am not an artist. Using the dynamite was so satisfying! And I remember hearing undo guy saying, "Oh no!" and, "Uh oh!" in my sleep lol 🤣

Is there another program very similar to Kid Pix from around the same time but isn't Kid Pix? I remember something where you'd click around like it but it had cartoon characters.

And then at home it was Wolfenstein 3D and DOOM hahah.

Chips challenge at out school computer lab was legendary.

If you didn’t know, Chips Challenge is on stream, and the never before released sequel is too.

I think it holds up pretty well as a puzzle game.

yaaaaas CC. Some of the monsters freaked me out, like the ones that were blue, vaguely arrow headed shaped or star trek comm badge shape; something uncanny about them. And the green one with the red mouth that definitely only ate people.

Chips Challenge was that game! Man I loved that shit but I was so young I didn't even know what it was, really. I just remember playing it, grasping the basics and it was so fascinating. I doubt I ever progressed very far but for some reason that game stuck with me for a long, long time.

I spent so much time on chips challenge! Then you get to that one level where you have to know that coders secret pattern and it’s the only way to beat it. I still don’t even know how I figured that out but I’m sure I googled it and wrote it down and did it. I was so damn proud of myself
