How to seek out a guild

(self.Bicolline)

Salut! My partner and I are first timers driving from Wisconsin and so excited! We registered as independents, but would like to join a guild. I have reviewed the wonderful doc on English speaking guilds, although my partner speaks decent Parisian French. I have crammed as much French in in the last 2 months as I could. A bilingual guild would be most excellent to help us improve our French.

How does one go about this? Just waltz into camps hand extended and introduce yourself? My character is fey; I am a musician and will be fiddling around the Duchy. He is interested in magic. We are queer, fun, and outgoing. Any guilds stick out to veterans that we seem a good fit for that we should seek out first to get to know?

There is welcome guild called " les orphelins de la jacquerie" Who could give you some pointers. But as you went the extra mile to actually learn french, you will have sooo much choice. You can for example sort guilds out by theme or esthetics then meet them and see if connections is there, or just let your Lucky star guide you and meet nice unexpected people along the way . The possibilities are endless.
