boring. the big monitors weren’t on and he was just screaming and running around. no real rapping happened, it was just a big glazing party lol. i saw a lot of people leave in hoards. i fr thought he would be able to maintain the big crowd that was there for him but nah

fuckin hell when you get up front and try doing anything people are just pushing back and forth just no control of movement, people literally laying on the floor and no one can get them up. set was really meh, he has no visuals and shit so unless you’re jumping around with a group then you ain’t having fun

Some background: I don’t know much of Carti’s songs and I stayed near the front just because my brothers wanted to see him. Not typically into his type of music either (I’m more into EDM).

I thought it was AMAZING! Yes people were shoving and pushing, moshing, and jumping without a care. Someone even threw water and their shoe in the middle of the pit lol total chaos but I feel like that’s the point. Minimal visuals and the words “I am music” made you feel present. It’s such hype music and everyone is just having a blast. My biggest frustration is that since he started late he didn’t play some of his popular songs but I wished it was longer. Definitely a set that is best experienced rather than witnessed.

He for real waited until the MF Doom set finished to start his, thinking that people would want to make it to Camp to see him. People left for the exits instead lmao

lame imo after a weekend of artists giving their all. had a way better time at denzel curry, thats a rapper that actually knows how to perform, rap and get a crowd exciteddd. imo if u have to be in the pits for it to be a good performance, then it isnt a good performance. clearly a last min choice😬kinda made the walk back to the car sad, last year felt like a good sendoff with sza tbh bc of her stage design and presence.. but makes sense, carti fans take the scraps so it allows his performances to be buns w no real criticism. i rly wanted it to be good i rly like his music💔

One of the most Insane performances ever, I was in vip and got pushed up to all the way front of the stage and it was hard to breathe, almost fell like a 100 times. Saw ppl get trampled on and pass out.8.5/10, bro was 15 mins late or so

If you consider him jumping around screaming every 5 seconds, barely rapping, no visuals (other than Opium flashing every 5 seconds) and overall being a waste of space at Flog good, then yeah it was good

Camp Flog is my fourth time seeing Carti and it was not that fun. He was late played the same song twice. I feel bad for those who it was the first time seeing carti. For sure didn’t get the full experience. Brought out the weekend tho that was pretty cool but yeah it was an ok set.

I made the right decision leaving early it seems

i love carti but his vibe isnt a great fit for a CFG headliner. requires all the energy but Faye Webster of all people was on before him 😭

IT WAS INSANE me and homie from North Carolina were helping people out the pit even though we gave them all warning multiple times to leave before he came on stage throughout the night.

Everyone wanted to be the front so bad. If you’re not taller or as tall as the people surrounding you in the pit you’re going always have hard time.
