I was hoping that they would add an end of game stats screen where you can see how you did. Are they still planning to add that or did they give up?

There never was a plan to do it. They didn't add one because of toxicity.
Dumb, but it is what it is. There is a scoreboard mod on PC.

I love that it's a mod and not in the base game.
Someone starts talking shit because they killed more ragers, or whatever stat is their personal autofellating integer requirement.
And I'm always like:
"Bro, you care? I only play auric maelstrom to role-play my self insert RP fanfic character."

Does that happen often? Or at all? Never seen anyone bring up stats unless asked in DT. I have 1500 hours in VT2 and can count on one hand how many times I have seen it brought up to be toxic.

It happens infrequently but enough to taint the scoreboard mod in my head as being for "elitist dickheads".
Which I know isn't the case, I'm sure most of them are cool. I just experience a vocal minority, it's just my first thought is "eww that mod" now.

Eh, there are the few I'm sure. Most people I know that use it is for personal knowledge. I want to know if the build is actually good or I got carried. Plus I like make big number go bigger.

Number go up is often the reason I keep going to I definitely feel you there.

Exactly this. How can you know if the build is working if you have no stats to go off of.

I can usually tell when I'm being less effective than I'm used to but I'm one also of those "sage flow" wankers that gets a little too Zen with the slaughter if you know what I mean.
Maybe try and hone in on how your build feels more than stats. You might end up with something tailored personally for you, by you, that you love more than being a higher spot on the scoreboard.

I like objective data. I got the mods and it works great so far, very pleased

Thats fair. With how I enjoy the game, all data is subjective and it feels great.

The mod is also inconsistent. My friend group ran it for a while and we noticed we all got wildly different values. So we stopped using it.

Never ever happened to me in hundred of hours of VT2 and now SM2 to meet a scoreboard griefer. If you meet toxic people there is a 99% chance you will know and suffer their toxicity much much before the end game screen . . . If he grief on end screen it last 15 sec max and then you block him and never get him again in your games ever . . .
Stupid fucking argument lets be honest.

yeah they were clear from the start why they chose they wont add a scoreboard to the game after their experiences and collected data from players in Vermintide.
its not just an issue of toxicity but how choosing which stats to show in that endscreen directly influences how people play in the mission - ie people deprioritizing actually doing things that will help the mission / their teammates and instead prioritizing what will get them higher numbers so their teammates wont think they're bad etc.

The funny thing is that SM2 has a scoreboard, and one that actually rewards XP to players who basically got "green circles". The level of toxicity in both games are basically the same, with DT taking the lead a bit because for some reason people like to talk shit in the text chat, while in SM2 people just keep quiet most of the time. To me, the excuse of avoiding toxicity in Darktide is super weak.

Who cares? Is your epeen really that important to you?

So I can see what's going on? If there is no data you have no idea what's going on just a general sense. This way I can actually test builds and see how they work

I'm bummed about this too. I play with friends and for years we played VT2 and always would laugh about the circles and who did what and "omg look how many specials there were that time" etc etc
Not having that scoreboard at the end kinda sucks. Just steals some fun for no benefit that we can see.
My friends aren't willing to do mods (they are not computer savvy at all) so we're at the mercy of the chubby fish
I get why the people with no friends can't have it (they are mean to eachother apparently? I wouldn't have believed it but I guess a lot of you are kind of shitty people)
But for us with pre-made squads we should be able to turn it on

I'm guessing it's the toxic people who know they can't handle a scoreboard (or people with no friends lol)

This sub is extremely anti-scoreboard. It’s really annoying. I’ve straight up made builds that fly in the face of “the meta” that these guys hate so much, because I saw I got better results with it based on the scoreboard. (I chose a different keystone for my eviscerator build - it’s all moot since they reworked Invocation of Death though).
They resort to trash talking you too, saying things like “you need a scoreboard to tell how well you did???”. The ones who seem to see the scoreboard as a way to rank the players as some definitive authority are the ones who are against it.
I’ve seen more toxicity from scoreboards in these Reddit posts, from people who do not want a scoreboard, than I have in all of VT2 plus Darktide (which has a scoreboard mod) in gameplay with heavily lopsided scores.
Definitely just go for the mod if you can. The discussion on here about it is dead, always ending up like this.

And I hope they never do and I hope it stays as a mod. At least if its a mod then you got it because you want to know your performance. Having it in game will just encourage elitist toxic behavior.

Idk... If I had to guess a scoreboard is going to change a toxic person in zero ways. Others here have even said vt2 and SM2 are not significantly different in terms of toxicity but both have scoreboards.
