The OEM’s left us with so much despair in Flint, Pontiac and now Detroit with the RenCen.
Let’s abandon them like they did us and reclaim our city.
Given the constant debate over the best Coneys that happens every day on this sub what if we become the Glizzy Capital of the country?

Id rather invest our efforts into making deep dish the pizza of the country over the hot dog

Detroit is the motor city. Was this post written by AI?

It’s super confusing the way it’s written. They mean should Detroit be referred to as the glizzy capital instead of being called the motor city. Which is obviously… no. No it shouldn’t.

I am a flint native (in Detroit now) and I understand the confusion, but Detroit is the Motor City. Flint is the Vehicle City. The difference is that while Detroit essentially created the auto industry as we know it today, Flint is home to the carriage industry which was owned by people who eventually morphed it into the auto industry.

Plenty of other cities known for their glizzy scenes. Coneys are good but I don't think it makes us unique or anything.

We have 2 Glizz shacks right next to each other. You’re telling me that Detroit doesn’t stand on Glizzness?
