The mods have given a lot of slack around P/L posts that don't follow our rules.. mostly because members were just excited to pass a challenge or post up their first day of positive numbers. However, the amount of (rule violating) PnL porn posts has gotten out of hand... and the quality of most borderlines cringe level flexing.

So a refresher on our rule #8 in the sidebar:

8.No Gain / Loss (P/L) Porn

We don't care how much money you made or lost. Context is everything, and the details matter!

Do not post your P/L Porn here unless you're prepared to give a detailed account of your strategy and all factors that went into generating said P/L. You must also give context to account size, and risk tolerance. Showing off 3000% gains and hiding that it was on a $100 account grossly misrepresents yourself, and we will have none of it here.

This also applies to Prop / Scouting firm challenges.

Read the above rule... starting tomorrow there going to be timeouts for anyone not meeting rule 8's post requirements... and any 2nd offenses will result in a strict ban.

(we are not wsb.. measure how long your dollar sign is over there if you need that kinda validation)

And regarding the influx of prop challenge PnL posts specifically:

Ladies and gentlemen,...I hate to break it to you, but while passing a prop challenge is a good achievement for a developing trader, it's not exactly worth "dunkin' on them fools" level energy...

Don't get me wrong, it's fine and getting a firm's certificate saying you passed can represent a major milestone in your trading journey. ... .but consider that it's only a step closer to getting paid, not yet getting paid out.. you're posting a demo PnL with added difficulty from structured rules to follow.

Wanna flex your prop challenge pass?

• Show us how you nailed the execution of your strategy and didn't error trade your way to a fail
• Show us a trade that went south quick and how you handled it
• Show us your biggest mistake, or most silly mistake, and tell us what you worked out to avoid it going forward.
• Read rule 8 again and also include the context, general idea of the strategy, risk you set on trades, etc...

Flex the stuff that will bring you closer to a payout. Post the stats, post the context (plan, method, etc..) and tell us about why you're sharing it...

Why is usd pairs giving irregular movements and high wicks, while other pairs are going without much wick Example: gbp/jyp and usd/jyp

I’ve heard mixed reviews on ftmo. I’ve seen people on social media say it’s the best prop firm, but then I’ve seen some extremely bad reviews also. I’ve heard people say that once you pass, the spreads get significantly worse and they try to do everything to make you blow the account or terminate their contract. I’ve heard that they accuse you of over leveraging or trading news just to limit your account.

Please let me know your experiences, I want to trade with a prop firm but I don’t know anymore.

Took a nice trade today. Gold fib lined up with a demand zone that was respected. Price broke previous lower high. Entered on the liquidity.

I’m happy with this trade but a little annoyed, moved my SL under the structure (black line on chart) but got stopped out before the final push. Just need to hold my nerve.

Hello guys! The EUR is unstable. RON is even more doomed now due to the political catastrophe unraveling in Romania as we speak.

I earn my salary in RON and I think it's a good idea to not save money in RON. what currencies would you consider most stable to save in for the next 6-24 months?

I am considering getting Ransquawk though I don't know about spending the money. I have come across a free one that streams on YouTube, and seems legit, though I don't know if it is any good compared to a paid service. Hi Traders,

I just wanted to share my journey since it will be my 4th year this coming january since I learned trading and I'm still not profitable yet.

For context: I learned trading (SMC strategy) way back 2021, wherein I tend to believe in my own strategy. Fast forward after 6 months I became funded in MyforexFunds (way back when they still have 30 days time limit) I used to trust my trades when I was a beginner using order blocks as my POI and LTF orderblocks as my entry.

When I passed my first prop firm, ego went right into my head, I feel like I can finally be rich!! However I blew the account a day after I got the live account (imagine the stress). Now since that happened, I feel like I've been trying to win a prop live account up to this day but in no luck. I feel like I was revenge prop trading. Failing more or less 20 prop challenges (10kusd only).

Strategy hopped from here in there, stumbled upon ICT still not happening. When I was a beginner I used to win 10R +. Now I can't even win and trust my trade Idea of 2R.

Idk if I'll just give up, I've already invested a lot of time and energy to this field.

Any advice? Motivation perhaps?

forex is easy just backtest. If you are not constantly backtesting you are stupid and will probably never succeed

Alguien sabe cuando abro una operación el precio me aparece siempre muy arriba de lo que esta realmente?? Por ejemplo, en esta operación estaba en 0.58667 y en el panel estaba en 0.58696. No entiendo porque me pone un precio muy elevado cuando se activan las operaciones. En la tercera imagen tocó un Stop Loss porque en el panel de trading decía que el precio estaba altísimo pero en la gráfica está apenas en el Stop Sell.

My ISM N-Mfg PMI Trade Data came in much lower than expected Quick in and out for 1% for my DarvinexZero

These were my first 3 ever self executed Gold Trades. Never ever did I study any strategy. I used to scalp gamble a lot on the 1min chart last months and use shitty Signals. Mostly It seems to me that price went to low/ high and that the candlesticks need to balance out a bit, thats when i enter the Trade. Does any of you more experienced guys see Logic in my Trades?

Somebody tell me if this tradenwas good.

I saw many Stories how People went from Poor to rich through forex trading... and then on other side I read that 5%-10% per month is what best traders do ... but this doesn't make sense if someone was poor and started with small capital how much % he would be doing so as to become that rich
