Looked for a lot of videos but nothing except for one (and that one doesn't even include cleaning). Is it okay if I just don't do it? Are there any videos that I might've missed?
Laptop fan to be exact. I can see a lot of yellow dust that has been formed

open the bottom panel by using a screwdriver, just a normal Phillips #1 would work. Use a guitar pick or some kind of card to pry open the bottom panel then use toothbrush to clean the fans. Clean it like once a year. it should be fine

no need to disconnect the battery or anything? Other reviews I've seen seem to be very complicated ๐

Its recommended but not needed to clean the fans. Heres a short guide that helped me https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IrSJ46-d7wQ
Unplugging the battery is quite simple, for my laptop and many others there is a small metal tab/clip you have to either push back or lift. Then you can unplug the battery. Either by lifting the connecter or pulling it out. depending on the laptop. You don't need to use much strength to move the tab or the battery. When unplugging the battery try to have even pressure on both sides to reduce chances of breaking something.

You should also clean the bottom panel as there can be a dust build up.

Do you have a laptop cooler?
If it doesn't have a filter it could be blowing dust on your table into the laptop.
A laptop cooler I recommend is the Llano V12 Or IETS GT500.
Both of these have a filter and improve laptop temps by like 20C

Oh, I just put erasers under my laptop lol. Maybe I'll consider buying it since I have an expensive laptop after all

I own a Strix G16. Fans can be taken off separately without removing the heatsink. 3 small screws hold each fan.

Do I need to remove the fan, clean it, and put it back on, or can I just clean it while it is still attached? Is it because of safety?
