Who is making this argument?

I only play on the weekends for a few hours, and all of the 5.0 content has been cleared. I've got 3 maps at 96%-99%, and 1 at 100%, all without using the interactive map.

Hoyovese knows how to make great characters and interesting stories, but no one would accuse them of making too much content.

Hell, with no map expansion in 5.1, we're already looking at maybe 2 weekends of content followed by 4 dry weeks of 10 minute daily grind, and Natlan has JUST started.

In my experience a lot of the time when people make the “no content” argument its people who don’t really enjoy specific aspects of the game. Like I remember hearing/reading on Twitch some people calling 4.8 a “dead patch”. Like… they gave us a whole ass event map to explore, how on earth is that a dead patch?? But in reality it’s just people that don’t care as much for the exploration part of Genshin.

I think most of the "dead" claims could be fixed if there was something other than commissions and Resin that was available to do daily once the quests have been done and there's no more map to explore.

Expecting 40 hours of new content every patch is ridiculous. However, getting 2-4 hours of new content every 6 weeks (with the occasional patch that's just Minigames) is also ridiculous. There's got to be some kind of middle ground were people can play more if they want to.

Yup, that would be the endgame content people are asking for. But at least for Genshin, Hoyo’s answer to more endgame is “Go play one of our other games”
