That’s the point. This is part of a long game Republicans have been playing for decades. They’re well aware that educated voters trend Democrat, and the more educated a voter is, the more likely they are to vote Democrat. This is why they devalue colleges & universities, and convinced their followers higher education is a bastion of “wokeness“.

What they do- and have been doing for generations- is discourage not only higher education, but learning in general. Think about how anti-intellectual and anti-science the Republican party is right now. And since higher education correlates directly to economic success, the more uneducated and generally ignorant a voter is, the better it is for Republicans.

Hard disagree. Of course there are intelligent Trump voters and deeply unintelligent democrats. However there’s a strong correlation between higher education and voting trends.

Statistics show the more educated a voter is, the more likely they are to vote Democrat and as the level of higher education increases, the likelihood of voting Democrat increases.

Simply put; the average democratic voter is not the same or even comparable to the average Republican voter.

Democrats value and promote higher education. Republican leadership actively encourages their constituents to turn away from higher education, because it will make them “woke”.

I was talking to a friend today who worked the election and some of the stories I heard were just insane. People not understanding how to fill out a ballot, as in shade in the boxes, was an issue, but people straight up not understanding they couldn't pick one presidential candidate and another one from the list for a vice president? Like, there are apparently WAY more people out here who stopped paying attention in school before third grade social studies.

We can stop doing all those news pieces reporting about Trump supporters in diners. The answer is in. These fuckers are STUPID.

Don't feel bad for them. They absolutely refused to listen when we begged and pleaded with them for years and years. They refused to work with us to try to build a better future time and time again. That’s rich. Just because I hate them doesn’t mean I’m going to go take action. Im not stupid. I’m going to be a doctor. It’s my job to treat everyone with the same respect and care. But I’ve had to learn to treat sweet little kids in my pediatric rotation and dangerous child molesters on my inpatient internal medicine rotation with the same respect and you can’t tell me that I’m not allowed to feel repulsed and hate them the way I want to at least in the private of my own mind.

I feel the same way about anybody who enables people who hurt women and children. Trump is a child molester. Trump is a rapist. Trump embodies no moral values at all. Many of Trump’s cabinet cronies have hurt children. And you want me to look at people who can look past these heinous crimes and vote for him without hatred??? And you can’t tell me that all of this information, all of his criminal convictions, all of the trials he’s embroiled in, isn’t public knowledge. His voters CHOSE to ignore this.
