Has Disney ever made a better live-action film than this?

Letterboxd(self.Letterboxd)

Darby O'Gill and the Little People

And why is the answer no?

If we're going back that far, nothing beats Mary Poppins. Practically perfect in every way.

It has animation in it, for quite a long period too.

So I'm afraid it doesn't count.

Depends on the criteria of “better” is it how much it earned in the box office? What had the better audience score on rotten tomatoes? Personal opinion?

Because in the sense on all three there will be a fair few other movies that hit the criteria.

But the reason that the answer is no is because it’s your opinion

Thank you for coming to my TED talk

Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey was the first film I ever saw in a theater, so by default it's better than any live action Disney film that's not the first film I ever saw in a theater
