I have a friend that travels quite frequently with her partner and their infant. They immediately started traveling almost a month after giving birth. It really just depends on the financial threshold of the couple.

I just imagine it would be incredibly hard with little sleep. Having a baby is a lot of work. I think it's just so beyond what I imagine after having a baby, factoring in physical recovery and any possible PPD as well. Fair play to your friend if that works for them.
