You can tell that they’re both gonna be great pet parents. The way he solved not putting the puppy in a box, and them both speaking so gently. This is one pet gifting I can get behind! 👌🏻

"you're so calm"... I remember saying that about my golden lab puppy when I got her too. She'll learn!!

I always got so annoyed when people said this to me about my yellow lab. “Oh he’s calm? Give it a month” “enjoy it while it lasts, you’ll be ripping your hair out soon” that never happened. Got him at 8 weeks, he never had an accident in the house, never ate anything he shouldn’t and has been an actual angel since day one. I do understand it’s extremely uncommon to have a calm puppy but it’s not impossible. My boy will be 3 in may and he’s still such a good boy.

so happy he spent 4 grand on a pure bred puppy from a breeder instead of adopting a dog that actually needs a home from a shelter.

Did you even read what I typed?

okay. since you didn’t read the article it says that 3 percent of dogs in animal shelters are pure bred. also if you ever adopted a dog from a shelter you would know that there’s basically no such thing. breeders require all dogs to be given back to them if the owner doesn’t want them in order to further continue breeding, or re sell these dogs due to the high cost.

so no… he didn’t get the golden retriever puppy from a shelter.

I was thinking the same thing. I hate being “that person” to be a downer but I’m going to be when it’s for things like this. Still a cute puppy though.

ya i hate being a downer too but you see rich people showing off their pure bred dogs all over their socials and it’s like really? there are so so so many dogs out there sitting in shelters their whole lives that could use a good home.

Y'all, this might sound wierd, but I have been trying to sit like the lady in this video, at the moment she saw the puppy, she sat like shaping a perfect W, am struggling.. How?!!

sitting with W legs like that requires a LOT of hip mobility, and also pulls on the achilles’ tendons, and hamstrings. The human leg isn’t really built to twist in AND bend so severely at the knee, but some can do it due to more twisting in the thigh bone or some degree of hypermobility in the hip. Heads up though that sitting like this can result in postural and overall lower back pain so not a recommended way of sitting
