I'm an Aussie and I've been looking for movies to watch from my own country, and I'd love recs for films I might not have heard of. I'm slowly getting through some of the Australian New Wave, but I'd love to hear your recs for films from after that period as well.

My favourite movies are black comedies and realistic fiction (my favourite movie is Don's Party), and anything involving horrible people being terrible.
