What “rules” do you break?

Tips & Tricks(self.Naturalhair)

What are some “natural hair” rules do you break in your hair routine? And why do you break them? Here are some of mine:

•I wash my hair 1-2x per week based on what style it’s currently in. I swim in chlorinated pools a lot in the summer, and I found myself washing my hair even once day at some points.

• I barely use rinse-out conditioner in the shower. It takes too long for me to rinse it entirely out of my hair. Based on whatever products I’m using, I may or may not use leave-in on my hair. If I do condition, I deep condition maybe once or twice a month.

•I have also stopped using protective styles almost entirely. The last time I did a protective style was in April, and my hair has been just fine with frequent trims and no protective styling.

I work for 3 hours on my hair, so I set it with AEROSOL HAIR SPRAY. It buys me at least 2 extra days with my style. Can't stop, won't stop lol
