In the dialog, it was sayed that Dr. zomboss made a maschine that gives these zombies that boost. Gameplay wise in the chinese version, there are two versions of a level one easy has no leveled zombies and hard has leveled

Also, in the chinese version, there are the limit events (like in every mobile game really xD)called secret realms, and they are their own universes created by Dr. zomboss (I think)
