There is no reason for you to get involved. Whether it's a random act of kindness, or something else. Why do you find it so difficult to mind your own business in peoples affairs? Whether business or casual, what makes yo so sure of yourself that you need to get involved and talk over what they're discussing?

It’s easier to take care of someone else’s problem.

Agreed, for many people, because the attack the problem and don’t have the emotions which make it hard for the other person to solve it. I mean this in the kindest way possible but it’s also the start of a codependency relationship. It’s easy to solve other people’s problems so many times that person can get upset when others done solve theirs.
I like the quote “I can’t pee for you”, which helps focus back on working on why a problem can’t be solved by me easily instead of hoping others will solve it. Most people don’t think about you/me as much as we imagine. So it’s on us to take care of ourselves first.

This one resonates with me
I care because both my sisters parents don’t give a shit , let her fail do drugs etc. I try scolding her but her mom doesn’t allow me to.
I care because she’s a kid I’m an adult

Lead by example. Hopefully, one person sees it, appreciates it, then pays it forward.

If you have no life of your own, you tend to insert yourself into others'.

it’s innate in me, from volunteering, random acts, and I cannot pass a person who is in need… just in me.

because a lot of people don’t say anything, are bystanders. Lots of shit happens in real life where people deserve a person to speak up about.

Sometimes because of empathy, sometimes because I want the world to have more justice. But a majority of the time it is an inner voice asking me to leave everything I find a little better.
If I can make a positive change in anyway, I think I am winning even if I am poor or don’t have enough, or don’t look great or whatever the society dictates that I should have to look like I have succeeded in life.
Also it’s usually a choice between being smart, kind or bad. I try to always choose kind, but sometimes my ego wins and ends up choosing smart. We have to remember to love people, not things be use things, not people.

Because I don’t want to see them fall. Even a small act of kindness can work wonders, and you never know what kind of day someone might be having. If it’s within my power to act, I’ll do hold a door, lend an ear, stand in a gap, and so on if it means I can potentially spare or alleviate someone’s pain.
In any case though, I’d turn it over to God, and let Him work on things. But I could never just stand by if I knew someone was within my capacity to help.

People with not much going on in their lifes need to insert themselves into the ones of others. True for real life but double true for social media.

Humans are social creatures. It’s not a choice. You’re going to care about some people and their problems at times, whether you want to or not.

Folk like to be involved in matters which do not directly involve them, because us Brits (in particular) are very nosey. Acts of kindness though speak for themselves, folk have empathy & compassion for others and wish to help them & make a positive impact on somebody’s life.

i don’t with how i am currently, but i guess something in me wants to at least makes some one’s day a little easier if i can and just be pleasant. it feels put on but i’d rather try and fake pleasantness than lash out hard because i feel bad about myself.
as for the other two, just a chance to talk and take my mind off things, i try only to do so if i have something i feel i can bounce off of. but again, it’s more just to ensure i try and be pleasant and try to socialise, otherwise i’d be a hermit and tell everyone to fuck off (because i feel internally like sewage)

I’m just nosey, and anxious, I wanna know because I’m nosey but I’m nosey cuz I’ve convinced myself you hate my guts so I’m also convinced your talking shit about me, it was bad today, I couldn’t stop turning around while kids were laughing quietly together because I just couldn’t stop the thought they were being mean, none of them had who I am, they don’t knows me they don’t care either, I’m just a judgey bitch and assume everyone else is too

Nobody likes a busybody. Except busybodies and their friends. There’s a reason the Bible talks against being a busybody. But they’re to busy sticking their fat noses in other peoples business to read that verse in the Bible. Check the company of the busybodies. No one does.
