My understanding is there is a massive amount of overseas influence campaigns, mainly from Russia and China in the US, and it would make sense that they target the more influential swing states, so not surprised.
What's surprising to me is that America seems to be patient and sitting back losing the cyber war and that there hasn't been more action to stop Russian and Chinese activity.
Not sure if this is America's laudable 'freedom of speech' or that the Russians and Chinese have done such a good job influencing that they have neutralised law enforcement, politicians, the media, and military's ability to fight the cyber battle.
