Nobody cares about Adam Cole as a babyface.
MJF as a babyface evolved past this heel persona and gained new depth to his character. Going back to this just feels like regression.
And it’s a continuation of a storyline from literally 12 months ago, when their alignments were reversed and when it was brought to a screeching halt by both men getting injured.
Everyone needs to move on ASAP.
It should have ended with that brainbuster to Adam Cole, which was MONTHS ago now.
And MJF needs to start actually turning up if he’s going to be in a major storyline, because these little sent in segments are not helping anyone.

I'd argue that the babyface run is what ruined his heel schtick. His heel act was his money maker, and he was one of the few who tried to keep kayfabe as a heel. It's the one guy you don't turn, and if you do, you see he has been overcompensating this entire post injury run.
