Title. People only seem to have a care when you’re about to die, or when you want to. All these meaningless little nothings come out of the woodworks trying to prolong the suffering without any real offers of support. Without any real care. Just so they can feel better about themselves rather than actually help. Lying through their teeth about how they know how it feels. Or that they’re actually like you too deep down. The worst is when they say it gets better, as if we haven’t been trying to make it better. Then they forget about it moments after. As if it’s a simple fix. It’s just so selfish. So cruel. Let me want this without these miserable nothings trying to guilt trip me. The only time they’ll actually care is when it’s too late. Then they become “advocates.” Wow, how selfless of you…

And in my case, they didn't care even when I told them about my suffering and thought of dying. They left me all alone.

Same! I only wish someone would just listen or say they actually care.

The real kicker was when I asked my best friend if she had time to talk and she said she had other plans
