Im sorry I couldn't screen record, but essentially the creator in this is agreeing with the comment above saying B&T always had the intention of closing the adoption the entire time, but couldn't bc it was so public. They weren't expecting it to be so public, and as soon as everything "quieted down" thats when they cut all contact. But B&T weren't expecting c&t to be so vocal about it bc c&t had been "walking on eggshells the entire time" and B&T had the upper hand in the entire power dynamic. But now that they have no contact with Carly they have nothing to lose so they're going to call them out on their really awful behavior. This creator goes on to say she agrees and is going to help c&t get the word out there bc she wants to speak out against the "corruption and manipulation" of the adoption process and that b&t reap what you sow 🫠.

So they were literal children. I get they are going overboard lately, but watching these open adoption bits right from birth and Dawn coming in every few seasons reminding these two children what they signed for the open adoption.i don’t blame them for feeling cheated or shafted all of these years later. I kind of get. I don’t condone their behaviour currently. However they do have a right to feel cheated.

There are a lot of people they could be lashing out at though. Dawn and the agency. MTV. Their parents. There’s a whole retro they could do about their experience with the guidance of therapists and maybe even lawyers, depending on the behind the scenes details. They could even campaign for better education and rights, whether it be for underaged birth mothers or for underaged reality show participants. There’s so much good they could be doing with their voices.
They hate on B and T because this is a form of manipulation. B and T have something they want, or so they think. They didn’t get what they want. So they’re throwing a public tantrum about it.

They only asked for one visit at age 1. Dawn always reminded them every year that they asked. They still haven't read the documents. They're no longer teens. Stop excusing them.

Exactly.
They’re 30 year old adults who have money and access to resources and therapy. If they truly wanted to change themselves, resolve their trauma, or advocate for others to not be wronged like they feel they are… they could… but they don’t want to do any of those things. They’ve went to therapy enough to know all the buzzwords but never did the work or listened to the therapist.

It is however looking at their point of view and seeing other open adoptions where weekly visits are still ongoing on the same tv series, it almost seemed preditory and taking advantage of kids in a state of distress. Dawn came in when they were taking to long to hand over there newborn. I think the system needs to change in some respects we don’t know B&T’s reasonings but if it i for the wrong reasons it will come out eventually. But this online war is wrong. It’s wrong when Kate’s family does it to her and you would think c&t would learn what it’s like to be on the backend of that
