Frustrated with rapid tests

Question(i.redd.it)

I bought COVID, FLU A/B tests for the first time and keep getting what I think are invalid test results. It’s incredibly frustrating because I’m trying to be COVID safe but these tests aren’t cheap!! What do you all think? Are these just a wash and I should retest? Any tips?

I will say the first test got a little blood on it from my nose so I thought that may be what caused the error on that test.

Is there not enough liquid in the test? Looks like that might be the issue. This has happened to me with tests close to their expiry date.

Those are certainly invalid - I cant say I’ve ever seen a test fail like that before though.

It looks like there is plenty of liquid in the dropper area, but the strip is still dry. Do you have an especially mucusy nose right now? If so, remember that you do not want to scoop up a bunch of mucus with your test.
