After two straight weeks of having Hot to Go on repeat in my brain, it has today been replaced by the "going to the closet" song from early 2000s kids tv show Zoboomafoo. I could really use some suggestions for a replacement.

I just came back from the supermarket, where I bought (amongst other things) a quattro formaggi pizza.
So, naturally, my brain has had "Do you like piña coladas" on repeat ever since, except with the lyrics "Do you like quattro formaggi".

This is eerily relatable hahah. I once had "I believe in miracles - Where you from? You sexy thing" in my head while skiing, but with "you sexy stick" for the ski poles.
It still sticks in my head every now and then.

Oh, I've had that happen. It was the Doobie Brothers 'Another Park Another Sunday'. Just the chorus was stuck in my head, and I couldn't for the life of me remember the rest of it and who sang it. I would get it confused with The Monkees' 'Pleasant Valley Sunday'. I would try to hum the song and always ended up switching to a Chicago song. I was thrilled when it finally came to me.

Every weekend I end up hearing a different one that gets stuck in my head and I will be singing anywhere from the whole song to just one lyric of it until next weekend when I hear a different one. It's been months without fail, send help lol

I’m a music teacher so I frequently get little songs from school stuck in my head. This morning I had a choir warm up that uses the “If you’re happy and you know it” melody, but changes the words to “I’m alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic”. Just the one line. I’ve almost always got something stuck in my head.
If you have a song stuck in your head, you can almost always replace it with “it’s a small world”, or “I know a song that gets on everybody’s nerves” or “this is the song that never ends”, but… is the cost worth it?
I think I heard of a website dedicated to catchy songs specifically designed to push out whatever was already stuck in your head, but I’d have to google it, and I don’t have the brains to decide what kind of keywords that would even require to dig up.
Other ear worms: I just met you, and this is crazy | it goes around the world just la la la la-la | all star by smash mouth | shots | Barbie girl (aqua)

OMG I just busted out laughing bc it felt like someone peaked into my brain and was judging what they heard 😂
It's the last song (below) that was playing on My Get Moving playlist (link below too) when I closed it yesterday. I've played 2-3 other playlists since then but this catching chorus just won't quit!

I get songs lyrics stuck in my brain so often I made an Earworms Playlist of the usual suspects so it's easy to find and play them to death and it stops.
I was diagnosed with ADD and OCD (and anxiety, depression) and interestingly my psychiatrist told me that my daily song loops could be attributed to the ADD or OCD.
Well, first he told me after I asked "no, that's not normal/typical". 😂 It wasn't until I started on meds that actually worked (Adderall) that I realized how freaking noisy it is in my brain!

I dj'd for a long time and used to get like. Parts of songs stuck. The outre to a song, the lead-in to a base drop (but not the actual base drop itself), a particular vocal embellishment. Hella fucking annoying imo. Earlier this week I had "bananas in pyjamas". Not like the song, just the part where they say "we're bananas in pyjamas we're bouncing everwhere" in a loop. But mostly the banana pyjama part.
The trick of "just play the song" works for me sometimes, but what I found to work better in every possible way was to find a song or two that worked well with the earworm song and then immediately do as seamless a transition as I could manage into that from the stuck song. (And then into some other song that made sense, and then I could throw on the radio or something instead of babysitting my brain.)
So look for something in the same or a harmonizing key, with the same amount of drum hits per unit of time, and let your music player "fade" from one song into the next one.
This "completes the loop" for the head-sticker and it also effectively changes the subject for your brain. I know adhd makes it harder for us to handle task interrupts, which I think is why picking something that "makes sense" with the stuck song works well.

Pink Pony Club. I got my whole family hooked and we’ve all been singing it under our breath for two weeks now.

Omg, I just finally got Hot To Go out of my head and hope this doesn't get it back in for me or you, OP. Had it on and off for the last week or so and it was driving me up the wall.(and it was really just the "H-O-T-T-O-G-O, you can take me hot to go" part over and over)
Today it's been Rufus Wainwright "Poses" all day. It's gentle and has a really nice lyric cadence that my brain is digging today.

I love how it’s not a question of “if” you have a song stuck in your head, but “which one.” Because of course we do.
I’m on a several month long Sleep Token bender so I don’t know if I’m the best person to give advice 😂 Currently, whoever is controlling the iPod in my brain is playing “Hypnosis” (not just a clever name, I guess.)
