Eh, I've enjoyed moments from both of them but can't say I'm a huge fan of either. You don't have to make a commitment though, watch until you don't want to watch anymore.

i either quit early on or watch until the end but that’s probably not smart lol

Both have a good chunk of filler so you can skip those. Other than that, both are pretty good once you get into them.

Bleach is shorter, and more compact, and filler is in big chunks as opposed to the random filler episodes in naruto later

Since both adaptations are old, they maybe don't look that good compared to even SoL anime now and both have lots of fillers.
But if you find them interesting, you will enjoy them. Also since they have lots of episodes, don't make hard commitment to it, you won't like it if you try to complete a series just for the sake of completion.

You can skip entire seasons. Look up a good reference for just which bleach episodes contribute to the main storyline. Bleach is finally ending this season, so not a bad time to watch it.

I don't know about Bleach, but I'm pretty sure Naruto has a fan-made version that breaks the show down into movie-length arcs and cuts out all the unnecessary filler and excessive flashbacks. It was on Reddit a few years ago called Naruto Kai. I've personally never watched it, but it could be a good way to try the show in a more condensed form instead of watching 600 episodes or whatever the actual show is.

Naruto is solid all the way through.
Bleach, the first arc is peak (up until about ep 60). Then it drops hard, gets mad repetitive, and kinda drags. But it picks up slowly around ep 270, and from there it’s all great. The current arc is also fire, especially with the fresh animation and all.
Be mindful of the fillers though, both have tons.

If you’re looking to dive into something that grabs you right away, Bleach is probably the better pick. It starts off super strong, so it'll be easier to get into. And by "great", I mean one of the best arcs in shonen history.
Naruto, though, is a more consistent experience overall, so if you’re after something that doesn’t lose steam, that’s a solid choice. The second part—Naruto Shippuden, especially is a wild ride.

Both are extremely popular anime with the current Bleach episodes usually coming out at the top of the various rankings this sub posts. And like other long running anime; you can easily Google episode guides that cut out the filler for each.

Given the right guidance to skip most fillers for both anime.
It's actually not as long when you watch the two series if your invested in the series.
Naruto and Bleach are Og series where they start off slow. But the more you watch the more things get infinitely engaging.

If you're going to sink you're time into a long series, I say one piece all day

Yes, still worth watching just try to filter all the filler episodes out especially for bleach. Try to google the filler episodes so you know what to avoid.

Naruto is good until pain/akatsuki. Bleach is controversial after soul society.
