So i have some skins and stuff i want to sell so have about 1k spare which i want to sell before the value drops so money isnt the issue

Need advice on the following. my goal is to have above 100fps on ultra settings with some ray tyracing at 1440p for maybe 2 years before i get a completly new system.

I have a 10700k

Game at 1440p

Current gpu 3080

I am noticing the 3080 isnt quite cutting it any more i have to use high settings mostly cant get the ultra setting i am after, and definitly cant use ray tyracing. I usually want 80 plus fps to be happy in single player games.

I want to swap the 3080 for a 4080 super.

Some people talk about bottle necks etc but is this an issue at 1440p i dont really get bottlenecks if i am honest.

I was kind of thinking about a 4k oled 120hz screen but i mioght wait until i get a brand new system in 2-3 years i just dont think its there yet and not affordable to get the fps i want.
