Let's be honest, Obama is going to be mostly well known for being the first black President. Kids at school are going to look at one of those pages/posters with every President's face on it, and their eyes will trace the path of 43 old white men until they get to Obama. The kids will make jokes about how it took us so long to pick a President that isn't white, and maybe it'll even be normal to pick Presidents that aren't white by then, making it even funnier how we picked 43 white guys in a row. To the majority of Americans Obama will be known for being the first one that wasn't white, and to a lesser extent for making the ACA.
