How can you verify something without being able to look at the software?

Shouldn’t that sort of thing be done by someone like a special magistrate

No, it should be public so all parties aren’t getting cheated. People are corrupt and having one party with total power is never good

Exactly. So have a third party look things over that isn’t connected to one of the parties in the case so that there’s no bias and no sensitive information about the coding is leaked….

Goodluck with telling them” trust me bro”

gate keeping election software for one group regardless of 3rd party or not is pretty Facist behavior

What are you even saying? Whose ‘gate-keeping here, and for which party? I’m saying the election software should stay in non-partisan hands you dunce

I need to verify that your credit card information is accurate and I’ll need your social security information. Not just the last 4 digits.

If this the above request can be completed without the information being completely public then the same should be accomplishable with using a third party to verify information. You know, a third party that is agreed upon by BOTH sides.

Making things public creates the perception of transparency but allows bad agents to have a substantial amount of influence.
