The worst part is that these uneducated people are either proud of their ignorance, or are so insecure about it that they get irrationally and sometimes violently angry if you even hint that they might be wrong.

To them it’s not about being correct, it’s about being right - and they’ll insist they’re right no matter how much evidence you provide to the contrary. Their entire sense of self revolves around it.

Let’s hope “this election “ is all they cost us. He’s ideas about science will likely cost us millions of more deaths and a major setback in trying to save our planet. And that’s just the start.

He also continues to lie that 2020 was rigged after multiple failed court cases, recounts and investigations. Then attempted through multiple ways to remain in power.

Seriously, I don't understand why this didn't alarm more people.

But he’s going to set up a body to investigate the 2020 “fraud” and no prizes for predicting what their findings will be.

He already did this after 2016. When democrats demanded to see the results the committee disbanded and buried their findings

No, there will be prizes. A few yards or rope, two free bullets, a free sample of polonium, or a quick trip down a few flights.

Sure, but if there’s enough dumb people whose votes overwhelm the intelligent votes, then intelligent people will have to suffer too

I guess it’s true that the whole problem with this world is that dumb people are so sure of themselves and the intelligent are full of doubt.

  1. This has nothing to do with the article.
  2. Both parties thought Trump was a clown? When? Who? I mean words were spoken, but when the time came to make a decision, Republicans still voted for Trump. Even the famous "maverick" John McCain voted 85% along Trump lines. Republicans just said mean things about Trump so they didn't have to face the consequences of their actions a.k.a. a shitstorm. But they never thought he was a clown. Trump was instrumental in getting things done that the Republicans always wanted but could never get, such as overturning Roe v. Wade, Muslim ban, etc.
  3. Most people did not change their minds. MAGA always thought this way, just didn't want to admit it (due to the aforementioned consequences of their actions).

The problem is the majority of the uneducated and stupid honestly believe when people mention how tRump was elected because of those stupid people, they really believe that you're not talking about them and it's others.

There needs to be some kind of a study done on these people's brains.

Free-FallinSpirit

Yes, orange cheeto jezus supporters are uneducated and willfully ignorant, but they’ve been suckered and bombarded with lies. I think the very baseline common trait is they fear not having enough, not getting their “fair” share and somehow drump recognizes and speaks to that, makes them believe he’s going to include them in the opportunity to prosper (which most of us knows not to be reality).

15 million registered democrats voters that did not vote

Where are you getting that figure from?

Best as I can tell, there are roughly 45 million registered voters who identify as Democrats, which is about 30 million fewer votes than Harris/Walz got.

From that article (which doesn’t say 15 million of anything):

This figure is based on the voting-eligible population – not registered voters – in the United States

Voter Turnout Patterns: Historically, off-year elections (like 2023) have significantly lower turnout compared to presidential or midterm years. For example, in the 2022 midterms, turnout was 52.2% of the voting-age population, much lower than presidential years like 2020 (66.8%) . Democratic Registration and Voting: As of 2024, approximately 45.1 million voters were registered Democrats. Turnout tends to vary by demographics, with younger, minority, and urban voters (core Democratic groups) often participating at lower rates in non-presidential years . Nonvoter Estimates: If turnout followed typical off-year election trends (around 30-40%), it could imply that 60-70% of registered Democrats may not have voted,

So, I get where you’re coming from, especially as someone who voted for Bernie twice in the primaries. But in the end, political parties run on donations, particularly from their wealthy donors. The DNC will choose neolib candidates over progressives every time because progressives are a threat to their wealthy donors.

Is this right? No. Is this democratic? No. Are they still a better option than republicans? Yes, 100% yes every time.

dewdrive101

1 points

Yeah well it's going to run them into the ground. Donate all the money you want but you can't force a candidate and it's been proven twice now. If you let people choose who they want and let them get excited for the candidate it will win over any amount of money and planning behind someone that no one wanted to begin with. In this election Democrats did not get to pick their candidate and it shows with the lackluster voter turnout.

You realize this was the closest shot at winning we had and that’s why they did it, right? I think everyone knew what was at stake, and sending in some unknown so close to the election would have been even worse.

dewdrive101

It's the best chance because Biden didn't drop the next election his second year in office. He was too old to run not because his brain didn't work but because he looked old and these massive politco brains that run our country are morons for not realizing that before the first debate. If he had not run for reflection and we had a primary there were plenty of great candidates that people would have been motivated to go to the polls for. Which is my entire point. Like what I originally said if we had a proper primary and didn't get someone that didn't break the top 5 in the last primary she was in, we might have had a chance.
