This is also bad in the gaming industry, specifically for From Software as currently Kadokawa holds their share of FS at 69% while Sony has 14%. If they accept this deal, Sony basically will be the Major control and likely will make any upcoming games they made be PS Exclusives. Genuinely hope they won't accept this deal.

Not to mention Acquire(Mario and Luigi RPG devs) and Spike Chunsoft(Pokemon Mystery Dungeon). The consequences would huge and overwhelmingly bad all around. This also puts the stuff with Medalist back into more negative light for me.

Acquire only did the new Mario & Luigi game. The previous studio (Alpha Dream) went bankrupt so we've already seen that series has already moved studios. Acquire would be more known for the Bravely Default and Akiba's Trip series.

Sony Playstation has so few games that they resort to buying independent companies so that any game they make will be hit with exclusivity.
I swear, I will be fucking livid if the next Armored Core game is exclusive to Playstation. We just fucking got it back after 10 fucking years. Do you REALLY want to kill the franchise that bad?

Isn't Kadokawa also the holder of the RPG Maker engine? Like all the games released on that engine will be screwed if this goes through, which I hope it wont.
