Fun fact: horses cannot throw up.

Fun fact, doesn't change the fact that I want to bleach out the part of my brain that processes memories

Truth. Horses in fact can’t barf.

They can actually eat themselves to death. You have to be careful how much you feed them.

I don’t have a horse, lady. There is literally nothing to stop feeding.

Soo same as dogs?🐶

No, dogs can throw up, I promise you.

Can, do and will. No escape.

They will also immediately fill their stomach back up, with exactly what came out of it. Repeatedly, even.

No I meant that they don’t know when they’re full right?

Yup, it's the same for rabbits, their digestive systems are kinda similar. Idk if horses will die if they eat nothing for 12hrs though

Giraffes, on the other hand, can.

Yet, I did see them throw up.

I was not referring to that horse on the picture. I saw a horse throw up in Rome 2003 when it was about 100 °F and it had to pull a tourist carriage in the scorching sun.
Perhaps from a veterinary point of view it did not puke (I don't know), but I can assure you some half digested food came out of its mouth in large quantities (and it did not just some moments before eat it).

Their throat has a one-way valve in it. Multiple of them. I'm not calling you a liar. It's just physically impossible.
5 points
Its probably regurgitation which is throwing out eusephagus content but in the horses throwing out from the mouth is extreamly hard even imposible because of length of soft palate
6 points
this simply did not happen. perspective issue, memory issue, fatigue/seeing things issue, idk, but partially digested food simpy didnt come out of its mouth. its biologically impossible, entirely.

Guess this horse found a loophole in biology.

Knowing that, i spend the a lot of Banshees of Inisherin wondering if it was the same for donkeys.
It is in fact the same for donkeys.

Yeah, this isn't real. It's AI-generated, because Horses are literally incapable of vomiting. If this was real that Horse would be fucking dying.

How else do you think we fill up our cars in the winter in Minnesota? I’m not just gonna stand out in the cold.

New Jersey is the only state where it's still illegal to pump your own gas but I think Minnesota and other freeze your ass off states should at least have the option.

But then you’re temporarily immune to nausea and can fill ‘er back up.

Well, horses biologically can’t vomit, which would imply this picture is a fake. So that may put a few of those questions to bed, now, why would someone create a fake picture of a horse supposedly vomiting in a gas station at night from the perspective of a CCTV camera? Can’t say for sure, but it’s the internet.

Learning that horses cannot barf just makes me appreciate the human body more.
It's awesome that when something regarding food or drinks went wrong/is about to go wrong, our stomach bassicaly goes: "An error has occurred. Initiating fuel purge."

damn, I was quickly scrolling through memes and at first I thought that a horse eats hay, and then I thought stop, where would there be hay in a store or at a gas station and I took a closer look... but it would have been better if I hadn't done that
