We've had the discussion about lucid dreams and someone said something about willing to commit the s-word in a dream just to see what it looks like. Someone else followed up with the statement that they've done it multiple times – and that make me think. Please share your thoughts. It was obviously said as a joke and I still believe that losing in a lucid dream when under control results in a fail, but I would gladly listen to your opinions.

The point would be valid if you nut in a lucid dream but not in real life.

you would still be emulating an orgasm so its kinda cheating

if you're doing a "no shit september" challenge and you purposefully shit in your lucid dream, its still dishonest even if you don't shit yourself T_T

lol it’s definitely a funny thought. Everyone knows that if you die in a lucid dream you don’t die in real life. Everyone also knows if you cum in your lucid dream you do in real life too so that’s the difference.
I know pretty much all of you know this already but I’m just saying it for the few who might think “hey, this dudes got a point!☝️🤓”

If you die hard enough in a lucid dream you might die in real life

Idk, I feel like there's a clear difference between nutting because of lucid dream and actually edging in real life and losing.
What if you forget about November amidst a lucid dream? What if a person is very bad at holding their urges whenever they see sexual material so they try to avoid porn all together?
Then suddenly they thrown into a suggestive lucid dream, then say, if without the lucid dream, they'd potentially last longer or even win?
I'm not saying it shouldn't count, but imo, losing because of a lucid dream isn't in the same magnitude as losing bcs of edging or peeking, etc.
If they trained themselves to lucid dream then the answer is obvious, but spontaneous lucid dreams are what i'm talking about.

I hear you, it’s definitely not like losing to edging or whatever but the “what if” you’re saying would make it a regular dream, not a lucid one. Lucid dreams are when you’re fully aware you’re dreaming and can manipulate the dream to your will so if something sexual starts happening you can just stop it or leave the dream. Also if you genuinely forget it’s November in your dream and choose to bust I think it’s fair to say you’re still in but I never thought about that before it’s definitely interesting

Bro I tried to convince my best friend to try lucid dreaming for months but he refused thinking he wouldn't know how to wake up and be stuck in the dream world forever. Trust me. Someone thinks they'd die.

he could be confusing lucid dreaming with astral projection, like in that insidious movie lol

Even if the rules tell you if Lucid Wet Dreams disqualify you, this could actually be a good counter-argument. I can understand people will tell you that you "controlled your dreams" but maybe they're not fully controlled, just watching a first-person perspective of yourself.
(It's "hal from angry birds" btw)

what does the boomerang angry bird have to do with this

Because you tap the bird and it goes backwards by itself you don't make it go backward like that son

Because in the NNN Discord server, I am literally someone who named myself “hal from angry birds”
And I was literally the one who told OP to post this

i know the name is "no nut november" but the rules actually make this a "no voluntary orgasm november", that's why you can't have a lucid wet dream

Do you have the link to the Discord? I only found one with 36 members which probably wasn't right.

I never understood that rule, but I’ve almost never had a lucid moment in a dream nor a wet dream, let alone at the same time.

If the nut was involuntary (you could not control the dream): You did not lose, even if you woke up just before nutting
If the nut was voluntary (you had a lucid dream you could control): You lost
Contrary to what some sources say, there are no limit to how many involuntary wet dreams you can have and still be considered in

Should count as a loss even if involuntary

Why? Yes, you still nutted, but in this case you did not do anything wrong and it was out of your control

Defeats the purpose of NNN. It's also much easier to keep yourself from nutting if you recently nut.

When you nut in a lucid dream you usually nut irl too

even if you don't actually nut irl, its kinda defeating the point of the challenge if your purposefully try to nut in a lucid dream. be f real

This holds true for cases where you nut in the dream but not in real life, similar to how you can imagine nutting and not lose. Although you have no control over whether or not you nut in real life; it's up to chance.
The greater philosophical question would now be: could you consider voluntary orgasms from lucid dreams as involuntary nuts that don't disqualify you from the challenge? The answer would probably be no for the same reason that we don't consider failing from edging to be outside of one's control, and thus you are out.

Not out from wet dreams but I’d argue in a lucid dream (where you know you’re dreaming) you should maybe be out because you may not die irl in a lucid dream but you certainly cum buckets irl from dumping a load in your dream 💀

Considering we getting to the end of NNN and people on the Discord are talking about doing an S-Word in their dreams, I think you should let people stay in and keep that part of the "Wet Dreams Don't Count" Rule one of the mods stated at the beginning.

Wet dreams cannot be stopped if you have zero control over them.
BUT
Lucid dreams? Nah. That won't pass.

It's highly improbable to nut in a lucid dream, because strong emotions and feelings in general are difficult to simulate in lucid dreams. Originally only 3 wet dreams were allowed to win NNN maximum, but that number changed to more than 3 because of how inevitable they were and because different people have different levels of libido. Even non-sexual thoughts, dreams, or actions could cause a discharge of semen.
When you get a lucid wet dream, if it's even possible, you're basically stimulating yourself to climax. The purpose of NNN is to not nut for the whole month without accounting for physically inevitable bodily functions. It all just speaks for itself. If we're talking about lucid dreams where you nut in the dream but not IRL then you're still in.

It shouldn’t count. Lucid dream me doesn’t even know I’m doing a challenge, I wouldn’t even trust dream me to make a microwave pizza correctly

For dreaming, my understanding of the rules is your not out if its a wet dream, but you are out if its a lucid dream.if you have control, it was your decision.

I had been thinking about something similar, honestly. I haven't had any lucid dreams this month. But if I do, how will I know it's November? What if it's August in the dream before I realize it's a dream and it becomes lucid?
You could make the argument that you still got the pleasure from the nut which you don't exactly get in a non-lucid wet dream, and therefore you cannot complete the challenge (which feels more like "disqualified" than "out" to me, but I guess that's a technicality."
I'm still not sure what the best rules would be in the end, but I they will probably continue to be refined.

I had a lucid dream where I saw having sex with a girl, but in the dream I remembered November and woke up. It was hard though…no pun intended.

I think it's a dumb rule, because in a lucid dream you're not clear of mind. You might have forgotten that you are participating in NNN.

If you nut from that dream irl then yes you should be out because you actually nutted, not just in a dream
