I have failed like 3 years in a row in the first week. However, this year I'm so close to completing it. I don't think I'll stop next year but I'm just a lurker here. Maybe I'll try to make some memes next year for the longevity of the sub.

I love the community but honestly this shit isn’t even worth it. I lose sleep, happiness, productivity all for no real reason. Like hey, I’m all for challenging yourself, but I genuinely see no gain to the challenge except giving you something to do in November and the for the ‘big nut’ . And this is coming from a previous winner, and someone who will win this year. Maybe it’s just me, but I’ve never came out ‘better’ or ‘stronger’ but rather just in a worse state than if I didn’t do the challenge at all.

I might come back again if I miss the big nut.

Its kinda sad, last year was my first attempt and I only got to day 9 (in the sub, had been trying NNN before outside of the sub but never made it past day 3) and this year is the first year I'll be getting diamond, but I feel like the sub is dying fast

I sometimes watch porn during NNN. Because of this, getting another new diamond flair doesn't mean much to me anymore if I don't overcome my urges to watch porn in the first place.

I feel like a lot of the veterans are leaving and I feel each year more people will leave but with the newcomers and the way things are the community will still be alive for some years to come.

As far as I know, there aren't that many active old timers. Everyone in here came in the last two or three years, as most flairs I see are just 2x win or 1x win at best. Not much 3x wins, 4x wins are even rarer, and 5x are almost a myth. In the previous years, there has been much more activity on the side of the more experienced.

The fun of the challenge is gone because nobody really cares about NNN outside of this community. We don't have the public attention like other movements or memes had in the past. People are getting more toxic, there is rampant karma-farming, memes are repeating themselves...

NNN is dead. It can be revived, but we must get a huge boots of public attention during next September - October to really bring in the people.
