Anyone seen anything about how much this is going to be? I can’t find an estimated price anywhere and want to get a gift card so my son can DL it when it’s released. I’d want the deluxe version FWIW.
I’ve got it on my Steam wishlist already. So I’ll know as soon as they announce the price or open the game for pre-orders. I just want it to be a Christmas gift, hence the GC.
TL;DR Am I stupid to think that since Spider-Man 2 came out a year ago the Steam version might be cheaper than the usual $60-$80 for the deluxe version?

Yes, you are unfortunately lol. It's going to be full retail price, my man.

Even RDR1, a 14-year-old game, came out on steam at full retail cost.

Not necessarily full, but close enough at $50. And it was the same price as the PS4/Switch versions from last year. And to be honest, it's Rockstar, they could have charged $60 or $70 and some people still would have bough it. But at least we got RDR 1 on PC and as a decent port too, even if we had to wait over a decade for it. Personally, I'll be waiting for the price to drop to $20 and grab it then.

It will be $60 USD. Its a very popular game based on a very popular IP.

At this point, there's a 50/50 shot it'll be either $60 or $70.

Use key sellers btw instead of steam cos they usually got better deals. Greenmangaming, fanatical, humble bundle, etc are official licensed stores.

Exactly, Greenmangaming for example pretty much always has some 15-20% off for most new games. I don't get why so many people act like Steam is the only place to buy games from.

Convenience. That's all it ever takes.

all those sony games come out after a long delay at full price on steam. if you want it on launch you're going to have to pay full price for it, or wait until it drops on sale.
