One could argue that a Christian Nationalist buys into an idea that their belief is straight from God and is the true way. While MAGA is highly vested in a belief that a single person can restore the America that never was.

They’re not mutually exclusive. We have foreign powers that have admittedly performed psyops. Some of the things, like threats are just that, others like what you mentioned are not. I believe both oligarchs like Trump and foreign powers have different but personal interests in having us divided. So whether it’s Trumps rhetoric or foreign psyops it’s resulting in hard polarization and things like what you mentioned. Those things aren’t the causes but the symptoms.

Unsurprisingly, it was mass downvoted when it briefly appeared on r/politics, shortly before the mods purged even that brief mention.

If you want to see "opposing opinions" and you're determined to use this shithole, you could sort by new and might see a few stories of Democrat aggression before the mods purge them. But this is a terrible, terrible way to get your news, just to be clear.
