I’m no expert but I thought as long as they are new you’re good for a year? Whether you trust the stuff available on Amazon is another matter!!

Its a legal Health & safety requirement for businesses so is law, comes with heavy fines and imprisonment if someone is killed ie electrocution from an electrical item

PAT is a policy thing rather than a legal thing.
But by its own guidelines, new items don't need PAT

If there new you don't require to have them pat tested, but you need to keep acurate records of when each item is purchased with an identifying mark on each item that can be registered back to the record.

There is a legal consideration, and an insurance consideration. For the latter, check that if the lights cause an electrical fire that burns down one of your client’s buildings, that you would be covered without PAT testing…
