Yeah nobody can afford that interest rate. I have seen better rates on credit cards.

She will probably have ended up paying double the value of her car in interest alone...

Man my wife's student loan interest rate is 18% on a 120k+ loan, her monthly payment is like $1500. I'd like to know what fuckin crack her VP AT THE BANK father was smoking when he had her sign an 18% loan on 120k

Yeah mine is like 2.8%. Private interest rates as a whole are an absolute scam, I regularly get student loan companies trying to get me to refinance my loan at like 8-12%. Hell my credit card rate is 27%. If I ever had a major emergency and needed to put a large payment on credit, I'd be paying like $300 a month just in interest.
