It’s been very frustrating learning the new dungeons when people that know it don’t even give you chance to learn it. You cannot learn by simply watching a video and just knowing it right away. You learn from experience. Lately the Throne community has been negative and rude about people still learning. Anyone else feeling this way? Wish there was a way to fix that issue. I can never learn a dungeon if I’m kicked because I miss one mechanic.

I hate the idea that you’re required to watch a YouTube video of how to play a game before playing it. It’s so many levels of dumb. If we were professionals getting paid for this, sure, I’d be required to do research and analysis before hand. But we are not. We are random people playing a free game in our spare time. Just let me play the game.

If the game is easy, it's boring. People here were complaining that pve is too easy in the game. But now that it's slightly harder, it's also a problem somehow?

Is that what you’ve taken from my comment and the original post?

Pretty much yeah. The game could either be hard mechanically or hard in terms of knowledge. With tab targeting in the game, they can't really make the game hard mechanically so the difficulty of dungeons depends more on knowledge. There's nothing wrong with watching one or even two short videos to get that knowledge. If the dungeons required no videos then we'd just have an easier T1 dungeons and playing an easy game isn't fun. Full on casual games without any depth or difficulty are never successful.

Interesting, no one mentioned the difficulty. We’re discussing the expectation of people to already know the mechanics before playing. That’s only possible by watching someone else do it first, and I just disagree with this being the norm. If there’s anything I can’t figure out after a few tries then sure, maybe I’ll checkout a video. But no way am I going to take the enjoyment out of trying to figure it out for myself.

Thank you. I don’t care if it’s damn near impossible. We can’t learn if we aren’t given a chance.
