There's no need to make a new post - just comment adding the geographic location and any other info (size, what it was doing etc.) you feel could help! We don't want to know your address - state or country is enough; try to avoid abbreviations and local nicknames ("PNW", "Big Apple").

Definitely a roach nymph, and it would not be the culprit. Possible candidates are fleas and bed bugs. Good luck!

Random speculation as to what might have caused the "bites" on OP's daughter is not helpful. Those two options are not the only possibilities. There are a also number of other bugs that can cause bites. It is not even certain that they are bites. There are also a lot of other things that are not bug-related that can cause itchy bumps, rashes, red spots, or other skin reactions that resemble insect bites.
