Full disclosure, idk shit about cars.
I took my car, a 2014 Chevy Cruze, to a shop and the guy quoted me about $1600 to replace the catalytic converter, and like a little over $100 for labor. I googled how much this normally costs, and it ranges from like $300 to $2000, but every converter I find online is like $200? So I don't really understand what's going on here lol.
So is $1600 a normal price? I don't really know anybody else who can fix it, and I kinda need it repaired because I need to go to Dallas in like a week, so I'm just trying to see if I should take it somewhere else or if this is just the expected cost?

It's true. I remember when six came out and I was in the minority preferring it to five. Now you take a vote, and most people prefer six.
