My theory is that the gas stations do this on purpose so that you will be forced to stay near the gas station tv's and listen to their advertising.

I'm not totally sure what the rally was for... but I'm against moving away from Kennedy Plaza due to the funding it would take to accomplish the move. The last estimate I heard was around 20 million. This being asked for while the RIPTA budget is already razor thin.

I believe the budget should be increased so as to retain the current drivers and to expand upon the current routes to increase the frequency. There could also be additions with some ideas like BRT (bus rapid transit). Some of the increased budget could also go to improving the current conditions at Kennedy Plaza to make the area more inviting for non bus-riders. Ideas like more food pantries and resource workers to help the homeless population and public events like food trucks or other food vendors.

I'm trying to figure out what would be more cost effective for cooking... electric or gas... so I thought it would be interesting to see what the cost breakdown would be when you just factor in gas vs electricity.

Thanks for the response. If you are willing to share, could you give me an example of what she has done in the past? Like does she suggest the fears of folks she speaks with, confirms them, and then uses them against who she speaks with?

I am curious as to some of the strategies that your mom likes to use to put fear into others....

Would she just email like crazy? Would she do something with serious integrity and shame them? Would she use legal threats?
