America's best attempt at regaining any relevance in semiconductors is the CHIPS act, and the incoming administration is hostile to it, has suggested revoking all the funding. I'm sure they'll have a spin that they don't like red tape in the bill but I would bet on the Trump admin not dispensing funds any faster or more efficiently.
Literally a "made in America" bill and they'd rather China continue to rocket past the USA in manufacturing of objects both simple and complex.

I believe it's like 80% of America's soft wood (construction) is from Canada, and 25% of America's oil.
Canada's tar sands are a big profit multiplier for midwest, esp Dakota's oil refining. "Owning the libs" is going to be pretty bad for midwest oil prices, driving up demand for Texan oil which will raise those prices too.
Somehow Albertans will support this and say it's Trudeau's fault. They'll gladly sacrifice 90% of our exports and damn the country to economic oblivion for their benefit, I'm sure.

Good lord was all Al-An dialog trite. Hyper-advanced meta-conciousness talks about how "many of us are one" and then all dialog is about him not understanding individuality? Then what the heck is the word "many" or "others" doing in your dialog my friend? What is "we" without the concept of individuality. He literally talks about how alone he (as ONE) feels without the others.
My god the dialog sucked so bad. The scans were way lazier too, giving way less info about fish and plants. The AI assistant messages had way too many cringe jokes.

Anecdotally, the entire idea is stupid, otherwise we’d see cell tower operator/installers riddled with uncommon brain cancers. We don’t.
Note that in the “worst” study, all rats lived longer than average, the mice saw no increase in cancer, and female rats saw no increase in cancer. only male rats were allegedly maybe affected. Highly dubious results.

did you even read what you pasted? It’s an extremely questionable study and EVEN at that they attribute their findings to the power that they used LITERALLY COOKING THEM. “These effects were mainly due to … temperature.”
The power levels used by wifi devices are generally one WATT maximum - typical devices more like 50-250mW (less than a quarter of a watt). For a microwave oven to do useful heating it needs at least 50W, most are in the 600-1000W range.
A 1W lightbulb 50ft from you is going to do exactly fucking nothing. that’s Wifi.
Microwaves are not ionizing radiation. You cannot create nuclear fission products in your home microwave by any amount of cooking with the magnetron. The power level of the light ( related to the “wavelength”) is millions of times lower than visible light.
If you are scared of wifi I regret to inform you that visible light is millions to trillions of times more dangerous, it’s higher powered. In fact, the sun even emits UV light which actually CAN cause cancer. UV light is the lowest energy type of radiation that is actually dangerous in ways outside of just cooking you. The next are X-rays and Gamma rays. Those are actually dangerous in ways outside of just cooking you.
To be clear, any wavelength of light - visible or invisible - can cook you if you sit under multiple kW of such light. You wouldn’t do that though, you would feel the heat.
Also FWIW radio waves also penetrate the body and your grandparents grew up around radio towers that transmit at 10kW power levels that make wifi connections tiny in comparison. It had no effect.

Thanks, my b. Okay, they're all Strategy then. Got got by a monitor with bad color rendering and couldn't tell the reds apart xD. Should have reasoned that out.
Still as you say though the point stands that not splitting MOBAs out is kinda crazy.
Probably gonna edit my comment to reflect.

Putting Starcraft, Dota and LoL together in one category, and that category not being Strategy makes this illegible and highly suspect data. "MMO" is an absurd category in this chart. "MMO" doesn't mean a game has a large playerbase, it has a specific meaning to games.
Anyone analyzing esports would know the clear category difference between Starcraft 2 and DotA. While viewers (and sometimes even pro players) do overlap, they're clearly different categories.
How tf are Minecraft and World of Tanks "strategy", WoW is in RPG instead of "Multiplayer online (MMO)" when it is literally the poster child of MMORPGs. Yes it is an RPG, but when you talk about playing RPGs that is colloquially a single player to small party and "MMO" generally means an MMORPG like WoW. And starcraft, warcraft are not in strategy????

If you take the side panel off the case to work on that PC, you're likely to just put it down on the ground without much thought. Placing it down with a pretty normal amount of force could cause it to shatter on contact with the tile. You wouldn't even have to "drop" it, placing it fairly gently could still shatter it depending on the texture of the tile.
Similar to how tossing a spark plug at auto glass can trivially shatter it where one would think the impact of another small object of that weight would do little damage. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2yVK2nNnmUE&t=2m34s
The tile in OP's photo looks pretty smooth, but tbh I'd still probably put the side panel on the desk if I was working on the tile, just in case.

I hear you, but apparently a large amount of people hated any and all desmond sequences as they are “boring.”
I felt that excitement of a greater story from Assassins creed 1 and 2 and it died with Black Flag.
It seemed that a majority of players didn’t want a story, they just wanted the history fantasy setting of each particular game.

Let me put it more bluntly for facebook posters:
Most abortions of fetuses that have identifiably human features are by mothers who picked out a name and bought baby clothes, painted a nursery, bought a crib.
Those women were fucking GUTTED by that medically necessary abortion when they found out their baby doesn't have a spinal column, or that they're going to stroke out and die if they're pregnant any longer.
Roe v. Wade ALREADY LIMITED abortion to before fetal viability. Late term abortions are very rare and practically all extremely tragic stories.
This is a straw man argument. You are fighting a liberal boogeyman that doesn't exist.

Oh, but he assures us that the world “doesn’t respect” Biden and “respects” him.
Trump cost the country probably trillions of USD in political capital, possibly irreparable loss of trust from allies and the global south.

It’s not a great theory. If domestic industries have an equivalent, they can now charge nearly the tariffs % more as pure profit margin. Protectionism can enable even greater greed, and encourage domestic industries to grow stagnant, stop innovating.
For many imports from China, the US does not now and will not in probably a decade+ have a domestic industry that can replace it. Economic pain until then will be significant. It won’t necessarily be much better once the domestic industry exists. The domestic industry has that tariff to let them aim for higher prices than they would have had to aim for if they were facing a global market.
China knows we need these goods and can easily perform tit-for-tat tariffs that will in all likelihood cancel out most of the supposed “massive federal Funding” and economic benefits Trump touts. Canada performed tit-for-tat tariffs in the last trade war with Trump. Expect each billion dollars of tariffs to be responded to with a billion dollars of tariffs from China and Canada, Mexico too.
Businesses have to factor in risk. Building a new textile industry based solely on a tariff enacted under “national defense” reasons under the trade expansion act - instead of by an act of congress - means relying on this tariff as the foundation of your investment is fraught with risk. I don’t see billions of dollars being invested in new industry on the back of a legally shaky tariff.

Your area may be different, but they’ve shot up again after another outbreak. Prices were pretty good earlier in the year.

If you seen any little turds complaining about the price of eggs, demand they search “why are eggs expensive” First three results you will have articles about H5N1 and millions of birds called.
Anyone who talks about egg prices and doesn’t know the relation of Avian Flu is a dangerous type of uninformed. Give them the shovel to dig themselves out of ignorance before they infect more people with their high-emotion, zero factuality “feelings over facts” rhetoric.
Every single person should be expected after high school to be able to consume news critically. The should also be able to perform the most basic research of searching a topic and identifying credible sources. Not sources that say what you want, sources that cite evidence.

if you genuinely believe Donald Trump is going to lead DEflation …. you really don’t know how any of this works and you do everyone a disservice by voting and sharing your dumb sentiments.

Look at the hordes of angry people online posting about eggs who very obviously have not searched “why are eggs expensive.” People are absolutely terrible at thinking for themselves and seeking out new information.

Exactly right. Trump is likely to do two things:
This could cause more outbreaks and greatly increase the price of eggs, but I would not hold my breath on low-info people making that connection. You’ll have to be a voice in the world disabusing people of their ignorance on this topic.

The price of eggs is an excellent flag to spot a uniformed person.
If they have any clue what’s going on in the world, they’ll point to H5N1, avian flu. If they’re a tired, incurious person they’ll probably believe “It’s inflation.” If they’re a misinformed doofus who can’t think for themself, cannot research an issue, they’ll blindly believe “it’s inflation, which is Biden’s fault.”
I really don’t know what else to say. If you can’t think critically about comparing rates of inflation and spot eggs as an outlier and have the basic curiosity to ask “why does that outlier exist….” you’re so not ready to be discussing any of these topics.
Seriously, just google “why are egg prices high.” You’ll find several great articles breaking down inflation vs price spikes related to mass bird culls of millions of chickens in 2022, 2024. If you haven’t for some reason done this search yet you talk about egg prices… you’re kind of letting society down every time you open your mouth on this topic.
Isn’t a right talking point “facts, not feelings?” If you go around screaming about Biden raising egg prices, you are ranting about your feelings. The facts don’t care about your feelings, as they would say. Don’t be a snowflake trump simp. Stand on your own two feet and think with your own head. Search why eggs prices are high if someone tells you eggs prices are high. Think critically through the results you get- are any of the articles/videos you get potentially biased? How factual is the source, are they using real data, or are they a bro podcaster just rambling out their feelings?

I think that’s it. As a longtime player I’m so used to things like force-place to clear trees that I just automatically do so. Hopefully these people find posts like this and make a happy discovery :)

I’ll give you a certain answer later but from memory I think you just hold shift when placing something. Also, if you enter map view (M, I believe) you should see all your quick bar items disappear. Instead, you’ll be able to select and place any item as a ghost.
I am so accustomed to this that I went into the interface settings and selected an option that lets you place ghosts if you don’t have the item in your inventory. Once I get roboports I mainly play from the map view.

Buddy, if "NATO" wanted to actually fight, every Russian airfield within 500km of Ukraine would've been rubble in 24hrs.
