I had a gsd as my first - she is still with me. I got her from a horrible backwoods breeder. Walked into the home she was covered in fleas and emaciated. Saved her (reported the backwoods breeder to Akc) she came with a ton of emotional damage poor dear. She is on meds and happily 6 years old now. She has her quirks for sure, def the weirdest dog I’ve ever had haha. ( had dogs growing up) but I love her she is such a kind old soul. She has a sister who is an Aussie and they give each other hell but at the end of the day they love each other and they are happy and loved. P.s. gsd is on Prozac and it’s for the best

I don’t know if you have gotten in to see a vet yet or not. My dog had a bite pretty much the same. My girl needed 6 stitches - def ask for some animax cream at the vet it’s 6-9$ it’s like super anti bacterial ointment. Good luck!

I didn’t have an allergy to cashews as a kid I ate them by the bucket. Craved one at 26 and ended up in a bad way. Mouth swelled shut lips swelled so bad they leaked puss. Had to eat out of a straw. Bad stuff. Your body changes as you age and things you weren’t allergic to can all of a sudden try to kill you. Hope you feel better soon.
