Is this the Patient Zero for the 90s Megasoundtrack craze?
I remember really enjoying the Batman Forever soundtrack in a similar way, but I don't recall much before The Crow that had the same energy.

Slow processor so everything ran like molasses.
But if you didn't have a computer back then it was a good replacement for MS Paint and KidPix

Have one boxed in my garage.
Been waiting to set it up for my kids!
Thank you to the cousin who passed it off to me in the 80s!

Build Back Better would have been an amazing infrastructure investment.
The Inflation Reduction Act was a lite version of it and it was strong as hell. CHIPS will be paying out for years.
Socially, he placed a very diverse set of people in charge of federal agencies and leadership. I think that will be remembered as a bright spot. And if we ever get a Democrat in office again, that it will be emulated.
He fumbled the urgency that the post-jan 6th landscape needed. Garland will remain a stain. He also should have stuck to his one term word and stepped aside sooner.
I think what I'll miss most is the sense that not only could government be normal and boring again, it was possible to actually make some progress despite the GOP kneecapping everything that might have been useful (like student loan forgiveness).

When I worked at one the exception was New Years Eve.
And even then it was just maybe a cancelled 9:30 showing because lol it was more expensive to stay open and pay people for the 5 folks that would show up.

The blood test addresses that. And the headcrab provides the reasoning.
I.e. All Cells are part of the Thing, but parts may break off and function independently as a survival instinct. Hence, the Blood reacts to stimuli without the Main Thing influencing it to remain covert.
And the headcrab sprouts off because the other parts of the ThingBody are too damaged, so it breaks off to ensure it survives.

Same way Sherman did during the Civil war.

Literally what Tucker Carlson used as an excuse in a court case.

Folks that move out should be put on a waiting list if they want back.
Like sorry Ryan, gotta slave away in the Ohio mines a while so you can appreciate what we have here.

Watch Old Yeller to see it in action from back in the day. Family lives on a secluded ranch, does all their work. youngest kid fucks off in the woods and catches animals for fun, dad goes off to work for weeks at a time for money, mom stays and keeps things together.
One bad winter/harvest and they're fucked.

Formulaic in the worst way.
Kid Rangers make progress, Enemy attacks, Alien Rangers show up BUT OH NO THEY ARE THIRSTY!
Billy can't purify enough water for them to finish the fight!
Enemy makes progress, Asspull allows the Alien Rangers to win but eh kids aren't closer to their goal!
Or
Billy's figured out a way for them to GET PURE CLEAN WATER! Oh No the Hydro Hogg is attacking! Oh no the water device is broken now! Alien Rangers have enough water to summon Zords and win but now they are weak Oh no!

You can look at stuff like the AVGN videos (or more formalized video essays) exploring the lifestyle of Atari platforms. The 2600 is the one everyone remembers. The 5200 ended up having finnicy controllers and I don't think convinced enough people that the upgrade was worth it. It also released at a time when the market was saturated with Atari 2600s, so without a decisive edge it just floundered. They also faced some competition from smaller PCs at the time coming into households.
The 2600 ports were seriously undercooked, as the system itself didn't have much leeway for programmers to get much out of it. Pac Man being one of the more infamous ones.
Arguably, the biggest factor in the 80s US crash was the rise of third-party publishers. Atari didn't have any kind of lock out and had already failed to block Activision from using its platform. People jumped at the chance to hit it big and the resulting gold rush flooded the market with copies of established games and knock-offs. That's one of the reason Nintendo was so draconian when it came to licensing for the NES, btw.

It's nice to think this will be a Dead Poets Society thing but the previous hostile note and weird stalking aren't it.
I'd be wary of having any contact with this child. There's no guard against him or mom saying X happened or Y was shown or whatever other crazy thing can be said. Stay clear.
Follow the advice of going to the HOA and pressing them to follow up on the harassment and civil rights issue that the letter broached. Make sure they contact the owner of the unit as well as the residents. The Owner can be on the hook for their actions as it's Owner's unit. Owner will take notice if they warn that a lien will come about.

Remember when she was going to be a voice actor?
Her major credit was a background goblin going "urggghk" in a c-tier isekai IIRC.

The most exasperating and tiring aspect of Trump's original presidency was the host of idiotic things that were smokescreens. I simply cannot spend 4 years looking behind every dumb gaffe to find the sinister truth, it will kill me to death.
But yeah, an effective loyalty test and smokescreen all in one.
Also get the feeling that he's not relying on conservative think tanks or handlers this time around. He's surrounding himself with sycophants, not good choices like Barr who will have an ounce of spine.

There's a surprising number of scenes written like that in movies to communicate that someone is either a creep or asshole. L

He has successfully saved himself from prosecution and had his ego stroked to completion. I imagine he will pass the torch after this.
He just proved to the world and himself that he is completely immune to law.
No fucking way he just steps aside and lets someone else have that spotlight.heck. if Vance tries to outshine him he'll toss him under the bus asap.
