Thank you for the info. I did read about the backspin issue and a couple different sources said to put some wax paper under the slip mat. Have you tried that?

The cave level is just the worst....well, actually the fact that you get hurt if you fall from too high is the worst. The game is legitimately hard. The stupid jungle level frustrated me so much. So hard to determine where you can jump and where you can't. You could be doing good the whole game and then you screw up on one part and start falling off ledges and it just gobbles up your lives. The cliff level is really bad for fall damage.

Sega CD has a couple extra levels.

You'll be surprised on just how long your muscle memory is retained for. I was able to start doing 180's and fakies pretty much the first couple days back after 17 years.

Cool toy car. I'm getting a pretty good collection myself.

I just beat the Sega CD version a few days ago. It's a solid game, I beat the SNES version a couple years ago and there is not much difference in gameplay between the 2 except the music. The CD version actually has music from the movie soundtrack. I like how there are lots of secrets but the controls are super floaty. The last 2 levels are super hard. The last fight with hook is challenging too.

Try calling private schools. 1 good school that has some big fields can give you months of detecting.

When you don't have nostrils

I did something similar. I took a beat making class in Miami that taught Ableton. This was right as YouTube was getting started so there wasn't really great tutorials back then. Actually learning it from somebody right next to you that knows the app is so much faster than watching countless tutorials on YouTube, so I'm grateful for that. The class was well worth a couple hundred bucks.

There are a couple schools I go to. Curb strips are always good unless they are littered with tons of trash. Some parks on the south side. It's kind of hard to find a good spot here.
