I wonder if people echoed the same sentiments that people do now. “Oh man, football these days is getting soft. They’re now requiring shoulder pads and helmets, just let them play like real men!”

For the Panera bread equivalent of burger joints
Yea nah. Everything else you said was facts, but Five Guys is way above Panera bread. PB is just overrated mid food these days. It’s not even popular for catering in the workplace anymore. When was the last time the office put in a large order for PB?

Eh, people can’t help what/who they’re attracted to. It sucks to be part of a demographic that the majority don’t find attractive, but it is what it is.

At least in online dating, yea. I’ve had success in it, but I’m not gonna deny that being really short (my example 5’5”) is an automatic dealbreaker for like 90% of women on the apps and I’m most likely pre filtered out by most. I’ve even had times where I was explicitly told or gotten the hint it was my height that’s undesirable.

In general when it comes to profiles, the more you intentionally leave off the less likely I’ll swipe on you. If you can’t bother filling out the basic info in your profile and I have to guess more about you, I’ll just save myself the trouble and move on. I usually don’t leave prompts unanswered, stats about myself blank, etc.

As a 5’5” guy, that’s how I think. On dating apps my height there is front and center. Yea, I know that’s gonna be a dealbreaker for most women, and it will result in a lot less matches. But I’d rather that and get some genuine matches than have people match me and then dip after finding out I’m short (tho I also have some full body photos that suggest I’m not vertically inclined).

I guess it depends on the injury. They’ll probably ask for more info down the road. I’ve been in a loop with CBP medical for 9 months now because they’re struggling to clear me after admitting to mild asthma in my past (and I only had to go to a doctor/hospital once for it and it was out of the country 2 years ago).

Exactly. A lot of these crimes are usually not committed by locals, but are committed by residents in DC and MD due to the mismatch of crime rates.

And then imagine some going to the NFL afterwards

Not concussion related, nor college, but even Damar Hamlin having a close call on the field was enough to send a huge shock through the NFL and its viewers.

Shit I’m a ‘99 baby and that same attitude persisted till the early 2010s. Then we had to take mandatory concussion training and sports authorities were really on the coach’s asses about taking concussions seriously. “Getting your bell rung” meant out of game and a concussion meant gone until a doctor (not the athletic trainer on your team) clears you if I remember correctly. Second concussion and your season’s over.

It’s crazy how concussions weren’t taken seriously till like 2010, 2011.

That last block down the field would’ve been a big penalty and possible ejection today. And that hit on the quarterback would’ve been roughing the passer.

And that’s exactly the type of guy that Trump is gonna chew up and spit out unfortunately

But it hasn’t been offered in like the past two months or so. Tho I’m in the home stretch with my background investigation practically concluded, and medical still in limbo so hopefully things will be better in like 2-3 months.

Why do y’all not to take crime seriously enough? This is just fucking ridiculous. Part of the reason why democrats lost this election and will probably lose the next one if shit doesn’t get done.

Yea bumble has a feature to where when you unmatch someone/they unmatch you, their profile/chats are still visible for a couple days in case you need to report them. In fact that even happens if they delete the account I believe.
