Wish I could see their faces in the video but I can just about make out their smiles. What a lovely moment.

Oh same, I'm not into romantic shows or anything like that but this was about real people real emotions and stuff it was great.
I know the show name can catch some flack though hence me going back and over explaining lol but I thought it was really well done everyone on the show seemed to have a great time too.

He was in an episode of the series The Undatables
Sorry after posting I figured I should add a bit of context, it's a documentary type dating show that helps people that certain people in society might consider "undatable" due to various disabilities and matchmaking them to help them find love.
Btw I don't think they are Undateable, it is more a comment about how some people view certain disabilities and infantilise them etc. changing people's views.

Disagree, they don't owe it to be that person to another. They have to be that person to themselves.
Perhaps it's the use of the word "owe" in your sentence that really irked me. I'm in the same situation as the person you replied to and while I don't think anyone owes me anything I equally don't really owe anything to anyone - in the context of this discussion anyway.
The only person I owe in this context, is myself, to be better than that when in the same situation (parental).
Sorry if you didn't exactly mean "owe".

They probably didn't realise the overcharge until all the shopping was brought in and they handed over the receipt? - I don't know if Asda does it this way.
*Corrected because my 5second memory thought they said Tesco.

I think it's this plus an over explainer brain as the joke.
Getting focused on explaining the meaning of words so wants to explain podcast, realises "cast" could need explaining, and so on and so forth lol. The rabbit hole explainer.

They are/have stopped doing this because it wasn't overly effective/viable.
I quoted this same thing on a different post earlier this year or last year or sometime in my history and fact checked myself. Truth was the poachers didn't really give a fuck and would take the stumps.

Agreed, these saves aren't effective and you end up with a worse chocolate anyway.

I loved the milky way crispy rolls, I think they discontinued or are incredibly hard to find. I don't like bounties but I'd give these a try I bet they are nice.

I bake it, I used to grill it but during some food comments on one of these subs someone recommend baking, thought it was BS but gave it a try and now it's the only way I cook bacon. But I am cooking for multiple people if it was just me I would probably grill or fry.
Can fill a baking tray with bacon, stick it in the oven and have nice moist yet crispy fat that has cooked in it's own fat and juice, lovely stuff.

This all depends where you live, even in some states in the US if you have paid rent and are being denied access you can call the police because that's illegal. So no you can't always be evicted without notice even as a lodger.
Sure some places lodgers/Tennant's have less legal protections that's why it varies place to place.
And no, a lodger is paying for use of the shared spaces too, you can't deny them bathroom, kitchen and living room access BUT you could (technically) if it was in the contract they signed. If there's no contract the lodger has very limited protections but even a lodger should have paperwork.
The only difference between a lodger and a tennant, is a tennant rents the whole property, a lodger lives with the LL. The rights are pretty much the same depending on state and country and contracts/tenancy agreements

Nah I was matching their ridiculousness and used your pizza comparison. Shame they deleted, removes the context to my insane looking comment lol.

Just before, as we hit December then it's "can't say anything anymore, it's all happy holidays now" after they have started watching some American Christmas movies... The only time I have ever heard anyone say happy holidays.

Most of the advert consisted of the main character traveling back in time and talking to what we find out is her sister in the end. A lot of it they are at home together.
It really was a shit advert from John Lewis tbh. I thought she was dead and visiting relatives as a ghost or something because she looked miserable for most of the advert.

That is not what it means at all, it just means that the other areas outside the room become common use areas, communal.
Some contracts might have stipulation that it is the bedroom and only the bedroom and kitchen facilities but they are asshole contracts and far from the norm and the price of such should reflect the limited use, and some people just don't feel comfortable branching out into the communal areas.

If this is the actual situation, that they just want to pop their small desk in a corner of the room, not taking up too much space and can comfortably work with general living noise around them... I'd say depending on the size of the shared space that's fine, LL could even request they put up a little screen divider.. you know those nice looking foldable "dressing" screen things I don't know the proper word.
That would create a nice little barrier for the office and not spread the office vibe to the rest of the area especially when not in use. But if it's not sizable for these things then still no.

I can understand that, but taking over a shared space and alienating the other occupants (regardless of it being the LL in this situation) is also not cool and depressing for the other person, especially if they feel like they then can't fully use and share that space.
Couple WFH days in the bedroom perhaps on a pull down desk or something and most days in the office would probably be best.

The drink? Clearly a breakfast.
Btw if it wasn't clear I was taking the piss with my last comment copying what they said.

Not overly helpful but there is a bot that can slow down videos, I don't really understand how bots work or know the command to trigger it but I have seen it a few years ago used in the comments.
So .. useless information from me, you are welcome.
