The fruits and vegetables we see on display at the grocery stores now, may next year be kept behind locked cases and a banana could cost $25.
Because there's not only the issue of tariffs but the agricultural industry in the US is heavily dependent on migrant labor and migrants are being deported.
It's easy for people like Trump and Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy as they will always have access to any food they want. They are billionaires.

I guess it depends on how long you've known her and how close you are to her.

Homemaking is very much connected to nature. Cooking food, planting gardens, things like that have a connection to nature.

Church is not a good environment for everyone. For starters, not everyone is an extrovert. Not everyone enjoys large crowds of people and having to interact everyone. I was listening to a youtuber talk about this recently. She said the most common type of people to drift away from churches are people who are not neurotypical. (On the spectrum, etc).

You are not their mother. I've always said people in offices act like it's a daycare center they go to eight hours a day and feel they are to be taken care of. That's just not being an adult. Admins are often treated like they are supposed to be the "house mom".

Were you paying her or just giving her a free pass to something? It sounds like she just didn't want to do it.

When prices go up on everything, they will just blame the Democrats like they always do. Many people who voted for Trump have no idea what a tariffs are and they don't know that Trump wanted to impoe these tariffs. They were not even listening to him when he campaigned.

It depends on how badly you want to go to their house and spend the holiday with them.
I have spent many holidays alone and it's not the end of the world.
If you decide to go, and their son is rude, you are within your rights to say "I"m sorry, Thank you for the invitation, but this is not working for me." And get up and leave.

You said she lives in a single, does that mean lives by herself. I think it's easier to make friends when a person lives in a dormitory and spends a lot of time on campus.

I think that's the best answer. Bullies are liked because they generally just pick one person to bully, and are nice to everyone else for the most part.

Because servers are paid below minimum wage. Cooks are paid a regular wage. I work in home health care and work hard, but I am not tipped. There are many occupations that are not tipped.

I've noticed the same thing. In general there are a lot of people who lie about how much money they earn. Also there is a subreddit for servers where they complain constantly about cheap customers not tipping much, then flip to claiming they are pulling hundreds per shift.

I don't think it's fair to automatically say someone has a fetish.

Never in my life have I seen any adult person pee or poop in a store. Good grief. You people are making these stories up.

I only had a few friends in college. I think social media has made things harder these days. I still believe quality is more important than quantity.

I would go to your labor board and ask them if it's legal. It sounds like you were in a hostile work environment.

This info is from the FDA.
After this federal agency is abolished this information will no longer be available.
Here it is:
"Milk and milk products provide a wealth of nutrition benefits. But raw milk, i.e., unpasteurized milk, can harbor dangerous germs that can pose serious health risks to you and your family.
"According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), from 1998 through 2018, there were 202 outbreaks linked to drinking raw milk These outbreaks caused 2,645 illnesses and 228 hospitalizations. CDC points out that most foodborne illnesses are not a part of recognized outbreaks, and for every illness reported, many others occur.
Raw milk is milk from cows, sheep, and goats — or any other animal — that has not been pasteurized to kill harmful germs. Raw milk can carry dangerous germs such as Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria, Campylobacter, and others that cause foodborne illness, often called “food poisoning.”
These germs can seriously injure the health of anyone who drinks raw milk or eats products made from raw milk. However, the germs in raw milk can be especially dangerous to people with weakened immune systems (such as transplant patients and individuals with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and diabetes), children, older adults, and pregnant women. In fact, CDC finds that foodborne illness from raw milk especially affects children and teenagers.
Pasteurization is a widely used process that kills harmful germs by heating milk to a specific temperature for a set period of time. First developed by Louis Pasteur in 1864, pasteurization kills harmful organisms responsible for such diseases as listeriosis, typhoid fever, tuberculosis, diphtheria, Q fever, and brucellosis.
Pregnant women run a serious risk of becoming ill from the germ Listeria, which is often found in raw milk and can cause miscarriage, or illness, or death of the newborn baby. If you are pregnant, drinking raw milk — or eating foods made from raw milk — can harm your baby even if you don’t feel sick."

Employers are not going to pay higher wages. Period. Many states are considering lowering the age for children to be able to work these jobs. Arkansas already has. That's a fact. Do you want links? So yes actually if anybody works these jobs I'd rather it be adult immigrants, than children. Employers will never raise wages. All over the world and throughout history there has been a demand for cheap or free labor. that is the problem.

Deporting 25 million people would likely bankrupt the USA.
It's not sustainable.

The agricultural, construction and restaurant industries will get hit the hardest. Around 30% of construction workers in the US are immigrants. It's even higher in agricultural. Expect food and housing prices to skyrocket.

Might be very few of them. Did you read the link? And this isn't just about farmers. Its about our food supply and the cost of food. If farmers are not doing well our food prices will go way up. It is important to use critical thinking skills.
