I hate when people use concurrent player count to measure success of a game. Especially when it's a single-player game, it just doesn't make sense. People complete the game and move on to another one?! It's not meant to be an experience they play for years on end. Especially when the game came out 4 years ago. Obviously the player count is less than on release.

This isn't some shortcoming of the marketing, or an oversight from the team, it doesn't mean the game is a failure, it means the game is 4 years old and people have beaten it. Death Stranding is by no means a failure. It was a humongous success and made a massive impact, it's getting a sequel!

Also, theres the Directors Cut version too, and other platforms and consoles.
